The scripture says we are in this world but not of this world. I do not put my hope in world governments, but I still vote and stand for what is right and stand against what is wrong. As wise men have said, all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. few men stood against Hitler and he put millions to death. If a few would have stood against Hitler in the beginning then few would have died. But the pacifism of many toward Hitler meant that many millions would die. I am in the kingdom of God but i still live in this world. Do you still eat the food of this world and breath the air of this world. Lou

Jesus was clear that His kingdom is NOT of this world - If it was, his followers would fight (See John 18 v 36).

Your nation gave away its sovereignty to the European Union and it is making it against the law to believe the Bible. The people of England voted against this but it did them no good. When you have a government that looks upon its citizens as the threat then the citizens certainly need the right to own guns. We need to be able to protect ourselves against men like Obama who want to take our rights. The first thing Hitler did in Germany was get rid of all guns except for the military. That caused the total destruction of Germany and worst yet for the Jews. Lou

Criminals like helpless victims. If you outlaw guns only outlaws and terrorist will have them. The liberal media will not do a story about a citizen saving a life with a gun. John R. Lott Jr. said, Civilians' firearms stop about 2 million crimes per year. That's five times more often than they are used to commit crimes. Guns don't kill people people kill people. Remember Cain killed Abel and he didn't have a gun. We are not told if Cain used a club or a rock or any other thing because that is unimportant. The evil in Cain's heart was the cause of the murder not the availability of the murder weapon. Cain decided to kill his brother instead of repenting and getting right with God. God's response wasn't to ban rocks or anything else but to banish the murder. Later God started capital punishment with no mention ever of banning weapons. I support a mandatory(without probation) sentence for using a gun in a violent crime. Judges should have to give hard time for armed crime. Adolf Hitler outlawed guns before he killed millions. The Japanese were asked why they didn't invade America during World War II. They said because all Americans had guns.The September 11 terrorist attacks were done completely without the use of guns and shows that getting rid of one object they can use for violence only sends them looking for another. In this age of terrorism all Americans need to be armed. In a dangerous world that is getting more dangerous prayer plus preparedness is the best course of action. As the old saying goes, "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition." As Marvin Olasky a great writer for World Magazine said the slogan of America should now be, "repent and reload!"

Dear England, you should be disturbed by what is happening here. The Soviet empire died of bankruptcy, morally and financially. America is perhaps mortally wounded in the same ways-except our moral wound is similar to yours-licentiousness and sin. Do you think the American Empire will die as gracefully as the Soviets did? World beware, a rabid monster is about to be on the loose.

How can it be a good thing to have laws which allow MORE guns in a society? The issue here in England isn't with guns because our gun control laws are stringent. Knife crime is a major issue for us right now.
The more available guns are, the more likely it is that they will be misused. With due respect to your history, the need for an armed militia no longer exists - you currently have the most powerful armed forces in the world!
