Hope all Americans will flock to see the film 'Expelled-No intelligence allowed' by Ben Stein. Hopefully, it will come to the U.K. soon, if anyone knows when, please inform in this feedback. Blessings in Christ, MM

There is NO such thing as atheism

Friends: For humanity, god is that which no higher can be thought. We all have our gods of drugs, alcohol, achievement, education, love, self rightousness, apathy, etc, etc. So the reality is that God is either self or Christ. If we are dead to self and alive in Christ, we have eternal life. Otherwise we remain dead in our sins, no matter how smart we think we are. John

The books "Rare Earth" and "The Creator and the Cosmos" both conclude that we live in a custom -made earth and universe.I read a book once that said over 10,000 professional scientists believe in God and biblical creation. I read an article in World Magazine back in 4-19-1997 that said the journal Nature found in a survey of scientists that 40 percent believed in a personal God and 45 percent believed in a less personal God while only 15 percent claim to be agnostics or atheist. The article went on to say that these percentages are about the same as the 1916 survey and shows that 80 years of scientific progress has had little impact on the faith of scientists. World Magazine also did a great story on Charles Murray, an agnostic and libertarian scholar who in his book, "Human Accomplishment" found that Christianity underlies much of world history's creative greatness and much of human accomplishment. Logically if God started a religion wouldn't it lead to the greatest accomplishment? How does atheist accomplishment compare? The late Dr. D. James Kennedy in his book "What if Jesus Had Never Been Born" said, Atheists leaders such as Mao in China, Stalin in Russia and Hitler in Germany have killed over 130 million people. He said Atheists have killed more people over the last century than all religions combined over all of history. While Christianity does have a small speak in its eye, it's Atheism that has the giant log in its!

THE SUN STOOD STILL IN THE SKY

Thanks for the article Sean. There are 12 events listed in order in Genesis 1. Science has proven that these events are in the correct order; IF they are taken to be as the scripture says and NOT if they are taken as tradition states. Even if Moses had the correct events instead of a incorrect list of events, such as is the other creation stories; For Moses to put these correct events in the proper order by chance would be impossible. The chance of getting 12 events in the correct order is 12! or factorial 12. That is 1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8x9x10x11x12 = 479,001,600 that means that Moses would have to have written over 479 million accounts in order to get one right. Moses would not of had enough time in his life to do this. But there is a even bigger problem for Moses. He did not have a correct list of events unless given one by The Creator. Moses could have written anything for these events as we see in the other stories from men; such as the earth is held up by 12 very large elephants and they are on the back of a VERY large tortoise. Moses did not mention any silly things such as this. Science has proven that these events are the events of creation. The odds of Moses getting these events correct are beyond the ability of any man to even calculate. They would be so astronomical that any mathematician would call those odds impossible. But this is only one chapter of the Bible. The Bible lists so many prophecies and events and none have been proven incorrect. In fact science has even shown that the SUN DOES STAND STILL on the planet Mercury everyday. If this is an everyday event on the planet Mercury, then is does not take much to see it could happen here on the earth as an unusual event. This does not make it any less of a miracle. For how could this one time event happen JUST as Joshua was inspired by the Holy Spirit to speak as he spoke. This would indeed still be a miracle that is just as great. Lou
