But I made no mention of the Jews being solely responsible for the death of Jesus. Every living human being, past, present, and future put Him on that Cross. Good stating of the historical facts. There is coming a day when all will recognize that the event of 1948 was not a fulfillment of biblical prophesy, but rather a coercive movement of fleshly men. It is likely that your message of truth will fall of deaf ears so long as people remain unwilling to test all things in light of Scripture. What affect is the Watchman on the wall when the soldiers slumber in their beds? NONE! When Satan could not destroy the church from the outside he slipped in unaware with liberal theology and apostate teaching. All the while, the sheep sit in the pews as spiritual sponges and are near worthless to the work they are commanded to do. It's no wonder there are fewer and fewer fundamental Christians in the post-modern church...they're all chasing after MEN (and women) and not the Lord. The Word of God has been replaced by 'country club' theology and feel good apostate teaching. Those who slumber will be left behind and many who "consider themselves Christian" are NOT and will go to hell...a very real place of eternal damnation.

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32). Jesus continues to talk to the Jews: "I know you are Abraham's descendents; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father." (John 8:37-38). Notice that the spiritual Father has the capital "F". Jesus shows that discipleship depends on having the right Father. They had the wrong father. Jesus goes on to say: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it." (John 8:44). John the Baptist also spoke to the Jews: "Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say to yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham." Gen 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Gen 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Study carefully with an open mind. The 'seed' in verse 13 was captive 400 years in a foreign land-- could only be the nation of Israel. In the context the land was given to Israel.
That does not change the fact that we are spiritual children of Abraham by faith just as Abraham is a child of God by faith.
However, ponder the possibility that God just might keep ALL His promises to the physical decendants of Isaac through Abraham. The nation of Israel is not perfect(neither are we), yet why not let God keep His promises to that nation through His grace to uphold His Glorious Name.
Let Him keep His promises as the Jewish people would have understand His Old Testament promises to them. It doesn't change the NT gospel message-- saved by grace alone through the blood of Jesus.

As far as I know, I was NOT born a Jew or a child of Abraham. But I am fully a Jew now that I have faith the same as Abraham did. Abraham trusted The Lord Jesus to save him and I also trust Jesus to save me. I am every bit as blessed as any man who was a natural descendant of Abraham. Lou

Dear friend, I certainly do not follow any man is is so arrogant as to call himself pope. But do you ever worship the Lord on other days besides the Sabbath or Saturday. I worship the Lord Jesus every day not just the Sabbath. I do not know of a church that does not worship during the week also. So it is NOT sinful to worship on the 1st day of the week. By the way if you look in the Book you will see that the apostles meet on the day the Lord Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to them for the 1st time. They were aware that this was not the Sabbath, but they certainly met for the first time and many other times on that day. Lou

I was blessed when I read your post. But I have one question; you imply that only those baptized in water are saved. Is this what you meant to say. John the Baptist said himself, in Matthew 3:11 11"I baptize you with water for REPENTANCE. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.(it is never mentioned that Jesus will baptize in water)-- John himself said that water baptism was for a sign of repentance ( only a sign for there were those who John told they needed to show works to show they had repented) not SALVATION. But the scriptures say that the Holy Spirit is for salvation. Surly if Jesus has baptized someone in the Holy Spirit no one would say that what Jesus has done is not sufficient. Would Jesus baptize someone in the Holy Spirit that had not repented, of course not.The thief on the cross was NOT baptized in water. May the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus be with you. Lou

There is a lot more to it than what you say, Dan. A Jew discovered a more powerful explosive than what was being used in WW1. The British made a deal with the man that they would establish a homeland in Palestine for the Jews if he would give them the formula. He did, then they did not keep their bargain after the war. So after Hitler and Stalin persecuted the Jews so much they started fleeing back to Palestine. The British were caught in between a rock and a hard place. On one hand many supported the Jews establishing Israel and keeping the deal they had made. One the other most Arabs were against the Jews coming into Palestine, and the British wanted to keep them happy also. When the Jews arrived, Palestine was a wasteland and the land was not good for much. The Jews bought the land from the Palestinians privately and improved it greatly. It was not long before there was war between the two groups. The Arabs kept losing and the Jews enlarged their land more and more. One thing we know is that the Arabs have started every war that has been fought with Israel since it has been a nation. They have had many nations of hundreds of millions of Muslims that tried to push tiny Israel into the sea. But Israel has won every war with the Muslims. In one air battle, I remember that the air force of Israel shot down 85 planes while not losing even one plane. Abraham was promised descendants as the stars and the sands of the sea shore. The people both Jew and gentile who have the Holy Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ are the one like the stars and the only ones who will inherit heaven with Him. But the natural descendants are like the sands of the sea and they are blessed also by God because of Abraham. If you read the history of the modern Israel you will see God's blessing is on them. The fact that God was going to bring back the Jews and reestablish the nation of Israel is told about in the scriptures many places and now it has come to past. Another thing that is beyond dispute, is the fact that Palestine was a desert wasteland that no one wanted and the Jews have made it into a garden that all the Arabs are jealous of. Lou

It is truly sad to read these views from someone who is old enough to know better.
The word "seed" must refer to Abraham's descendants because Jesus, as God, already owned the land and the whole earth so why would the land be promised to God Who already owned it.
It is also so sad to see all the prophecies which refer to jews and the land of Israel being completely denied and twisted.
But it should not surprise us to see this and the complete distortion of historic facts posted earlier in this feedback.
Look around you - even Christians are beginning to hate the Jews.

Dan: I don't know where you get your information from, but its slant is obviously biased. Have you ever been to Israel? I've spent 2 weeks there and a week in Egypt (as well as time in Morocco and Turkey), and I can tell you the Arabs are NOT persecuted, suppressed, or ???. Those who want to assimulate, live fine productive lives as VOTING citizens. Those who don't want to assimulate and play the race card, are bound to see persecution. It's a self fulfilling prophecy- just like here in the good old US of KKK A (according to J Wright; an obvious prophet of God?!) John

I have visited there troops out in the field and they are hurt because no one likes them. They are young women and men defending their Country, a small, small piece of real estate that the whole world wants to take from them.
Touch not God's anointed.
Are they perfect, no, are they always right, no!! But they are God's chosen people and you had best not touch them.
When you look at how long they have survived in tack as a people, you have to know God's hand is on them.

Much of what you say is true, but it is clear from Holy Scripture that God has a special plan for genetically Jewish Israel. At the time He returns, many such Jews will morn for him as if he were their only child. They will look on him they pierced. Those survivors will be saved. Jerusalem (not new Rome) will be the capital of the earth, sitting high up on a the only remaining mountain, with the Temple at the top, and some kind of energy shield over it to protect it from storms. The Tribualation (major asteroid impact) will so badly damage earth, it is likely weather will be wicked for some time. So Christ will rule in Jerusalem for a thousand years. At the end, Satan will be released, and will not have changed his ways. What was there to stop him from not changing. A thousand years incarcerated does not make Satan repent and beg for mercy. He will again fool a portion of the earth to revolt. God will allow them to reach Jerusalem, then destroy them by fire. Then the New Earth and New Jerusalem will be created or unveiled. Notice it isn't New York, or New London, or New Rome. It is New Jerusalem. God will still preserve a remnant of genetic Jews who will be saved. The 12 Jewish tribal leaders of Israel and the 12 Apostles (also Jews) clearly get special recognition, but no non-Jews have gates to the New Jerusalem named after them. Does that float your boat?

I was your age when I had speech class at U. Northern Iowa where I attended. Since the Yom Kippur War had just happened, and the Arabs had cut off fuel to America, I became interested in how Israel got there. You clearly need to do some reading on the subject. I recommend you start with John Loftus's book, The Secret War Against the Jews. If you are just a Jew-hater you will have more fuel for your fire. If you understand that Israel is a witness to the God of the Bible, you will see that God works in mysterious ways, and often uses imperfect people, who use questionable means. That is humanity. The God of the Bible loves you, and is not threatened by your judgment. Job did a bit of the same. God came to him and spoke with him. Perhaps you should take a look at chapters 37 on. God gets to make the rules. He is not like you or I. No one can stand against him DT 32. Many Christians say and do things that are intellectually suspect. Don't let that affect your search, unless your name is really Mahmet.
