Salvation exclusively in Messiah

The Word is clear: salvation is through the Messiah alone. How detailed is the matter of coming to faith? Is there a checklist of doctrines to be known and recited in a prayer?
We must be careful not to slide into human responsibility to the point we compromise God's sovereign election from the foundations of the earth.
Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness.
I once heard of a man who lived in another part of the world, and as I recall his testimony was, in retrospect, that he "knew Jesus" even though he had not yet had explicit information about the Messiah that is described in the Word.
God is drawing his elect unto Himself across the globe. None He has chosen will fail to come to Him.

Jesus is the only Way to the Father, because He alone is God become man, who won redemption. Thus, if we deny, or cannot say for sure, or are unwilling to say for sure, that this is the Truth, we have either not seen that it is the Truth, or refuse to see it. In either case, how can we be saved if we will not say for sure that the very Savior who died for us is not who He says He is? Why bother repenting and believing in Christ if He is one of many ways to God? George Cancilla

If you mean the word "Christ" as in a general "god" then no. but if you mean Yeshua, Jesus, alone, then ABSOLUTELY.

It comes down to the fact; IS THE BIBLE TRUE. If the Bible is not true, then why would we even read it. Why would anyone read a lie. If the Bible is true, then we should study it like our lives depend on knowing what it says. Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
