The tip of the iceberg
Posted On: 03/12/08 04:42:33 AM Age 59, VA
This is the tip of the iceberg called the Falling Away from the Faith. As "Christians" dabble in yoga, opening themselves up to things like kundalini, they, unbeknownst to themselves, open themselves up to demon spirits and are introduced to the anti-Christ spirits that say, "there are other paths to God." It is Satan’s way of "dumming down" a persons faith while indoctrinating them into the same deluding spirit that will deceive those who believe not the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I predict we will see in a short period of time from now many who call themselves Christian clearly "falling away from the faith" and we can blame a lot of it on the introduction of Yoga and Contemplative prayer into the Church. You can read at http://www.hinduismtoday.com/archives/1991/01/1991-01-06.shtml "An Open Letter to Evangelicals" - Hindu evangelists that is. This 1991 article from "Hinduism Today" is very prescient about the future state of Hinduism in the United States. At the end of the article the author states: "You will see alliances form among Hindus and Christians (probably Episcopalians at first, not the Assembly of God). International conclaves, especially the peace and ecumenical movements, will be deeply affected by Hindus. A small army of yoga missionaries - hatha, raja, siddha and kundalini - beautifully trained in the last 10 years, is about to set upon the western world. They may not call themselves Hindu, but Hindus know where yoga came from and where it goes." The tip of the iceberg indicates trouble below for the Church. Many who think they are Christians and who dabble in Yoga are about to collide with a titanic sized iceberg that will rock their world and drown them in the end-time wave of deception.

an opening into the occult

Derek Prince was a practicing Yogi before he got saved and he had a fair amount to say about it. Amoung his observations were that it was an opening into the occult and gave the devil a legal claim on your life. They are tapes worth listening to.
