Indeed, truth is absolute because it is from its Creator- Christ. Anything less that 100% truth is a lie. The problem with knowing truth is that while we are in this tent of a body, we confuse reality with spirituality and see dimly with scales over our eyes. To shed off sin and see Christ perfectly will be a glorious sight as John reveals in Revelation. John

Absolute vs. Relative Truth

The article stated: "If a philosopher is all alone in the woods, clapping one hand, with no one to hear him, would he still be impossible to understand?" I have heard this differently: If a tree falls in the woods and there is no one to hear it, does it still make a sound? The absolute truth is that it does make a sound. Those who would say that the tree makes a sound only relative to someone hearing it, are going to have a real problem with the Gospel. Jesus Christ is with us, Immanuel, whether we choose to believe it or not. George Cancilla

I read all the articles that you post on this site and this one is the best that I have read from you. This brings truth down to the very foundation. I really liked when you said; When they ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they didn't gain a knowledge of good and evil. They already knew good, they only gained a knowledge of evil. - This is a really good thought that I have never heard before even though it seems obvious. I thank you so much for this knowledge of good. Your articles are really needed on this site. There are so many about politics and so few about the Truth. Lou
