Harry thank you for your article and your concern. But how can we expect people who give away their own land and even their own children to care about the land of others. The age of lawlessness is coming upon the world. We must all seek the Lord of Mercy. Lou

The United States government has continually supported Israel (the nation state) in the persecution of Palestinians who have been progressively killed and run off their land for many decades. Retaliation with violence is not acceptable, but can be expected because of provocation by Israel. Even if your prophecy is correct, there is no justification for manipulation and violence on the part of Israel and the U.S. True peace lies in the nation state of Israel sharing the land with the Palestinians. I ave one more thing to say. You say that world peace isn't attainable. Even though i agree that we can never see world peace because of the fallen nature of humanity, why can't we maximize peace as much as possible? C.S. Lewis says that there are moral ideals that, when followed, cause humans to function normally. While we cannot attain those to perfection, due to our fallen natures, we must try anyway. A similar example would be driving a manual: you will never shift the gears perfectly, but the car runs the best when you try your hardest to shift right. Therefore, look at peacemaking in the same way. Peace is an ideal that we must strive for as Christians, and even non-Christians see that peace is the best alternative, and so even though we will never fully reach that, giving up is not the way to go. Saying that "peace is unattainable and therefore why should we try" is like saying "never sinning is unattainable, so i wont even try to not sin." Plus, you point out that most world leaders are communists, socialists, and ruthless dictators. Well, for one, there aren't many communist countries left compared to the Cold War era, and i really don't have time to entertain your pathological paranoia of communism and socialism anyway. Also, you speak of ruthless dictators. America has had and still has its moments of being ruthless and imperialistic, just as Israel and every other nation has. Plus, America has supported its fair share of dictators in order to further America's anti-communism diplomacy. -Dan Smith

Sorry, but most intelligent theologians would agree that Israel no longer means just a nation, but the entire people of God. God extended His kingdom to the Gentiles through Peter, Paul, Thomas, and other New Testament figures. God no longer focuses on one nation but on all who call Him "Lord". Israel is we knew it in the Old Testament....it no longer exists. In fact, Israel was independent for about 100 years since 1000BC or so. After the Romans annexed Israel in like 1st century BC, there has been no nation of "Israel", just people who are descendants of it. The nation was recreated by the British, not by God, and it is mostly ethnic Jews who live there, and it is a secular state. In fact, besides a majority of ethnic Jews, the only thing in common with Old testament Israel is the name and place. The only reason they still exist is because America wanted an ally in the Middle East to be able to exert influence there. Do you think God will like America any better because we are protecting a nation that no longer represents the people of God, and for selfish, political, and imperialistic reasons? I think not. -Dan Smith

You want us to pray that Isreal be protected in its current godless socialist state of being and that it be sustained by the wonder weapons we give them. Sorry, but I do believe that The Lord has other plans. As we advance our gospel of bombs & bullets forcing the world into our slouch towards Gomorra, I doubt that the prayers of opostate neocn chistians will have any merit.
