Jim this is the best thing you have ever put on here. Muller says, 1. "I seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own in regard to a given matter. Nine-tenths of the trouble with people generally is just here". - I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE SO TRUE. If I have a desire in any situation then that desire will cloud my hearing the Holy Spirit. I had to learn to fear my desires and know that they keep me from following the Lord Jesus and the abundance of His life. I learned to not have any desire in a situation but to desire His desire for it was always best. The Holy Spirit always speaks to me through the scriptures or in His creation and then confirms it through the scriptures. Sometimes though I have to turn right or left in a very short time and can only depend on the Holy Spirit as David did in battle. If David turned the wrong way it would mean certain defeat. David depended on the Lord Of Mercy and Wisdom to cause him to turn the right way. I have never been put to shame trusting in the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lou
