Good point. Christianity isn't, technically, a religion; it's a lifestyle, a superculture (overriding any other cultural influences in its adherent's life), a relationship, a blessed gift of faith which a person can't gain for himself. Unfortunately, it has to fall under the category of "religion" for ordinary purposes because the general definition is "one's beliefs pertaining to God." Just figure out whether it's worth splitting this hair.--Mrs. Pilgrim

No man cometh to The Father but by me. Jesus Christ, the Word of God (John 1:1) said "I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. John 14:6. The question of questions? Jesus asked, who do men say I the Son of Man Am.

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION !!! It is hoped Christians would stop including it in the realm of world religions.Confusion ensues and one might say "one religion is as good as another". All world religions using some form of Human Good Works ( in their mind, a noble motive) as the means to achieve their entrance into Paradise. Therfore the principle of religion is a means by human works to gain entrance into the presence of God. The principle of Christianity is DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT to religion and says "by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" In all humbleness, the beliver (who knows he is a sinner) trust Jesus Christ for who he is and his work (not our own) on the Cross of Calvary to secure our Salvation. It is hoped that believing Christians might reconsider and hold the principle of Christianity far above all religions of the world and pray the religionist of the world might see the Glory of what Jesus Christ, The Very Word of God has done for them. A GIFT is given, our sin debt paid in total by his blood shed on the Cross of Calvary. Will those who have not done so please receive it in the spirit it is given. Thankyou.

If could answer the question; Do all roads lead to God, my answer would be yes, yes they do. If you are a Muslin, Hindu, atheist, Morman, Jehova's Witness, agnostic, follower of Wiccan beliefs or any new found religion you can name, your road leads to God. Let me explain. One day you will die. The moment you do, the Scriptures say that you will be judged by God. So, your road, no matter what it was, led to God. Unless you repented of your sins and put your trust in Jesus Christ to save you from God's wrath on that day while you were still alive, then your road takes quite a drastic turn. But the road you traveled on while youe were alive did, in fact, lead you straight to Him. The real question should be; Do all roads lead to forgiveness of sins and life everlasting with God the Father for eternity in Heaven? That's a pretty long question-title for a column though.

Steve: Most American's consider themselves Christian because they don't wish to believe themselves to be Budist, Hindu, Muslim, etc. It is not that they carefully studied the religions and came to a conclusion of truth, it is that they are ignorant and not caring of what is the truth. Consequently, they could easily be enticed to become another religion if it is packaged and presented well. Of course in our society, the packaging is "what's in it for me". Since Christianity requires dying to self, it isn't high up on people's to do list. Therefore it is repackaged into self help, blessings, "love", and acceptance of sins and the sinner. Indeed, to these people, God is very understanding because he was just like us. True truth is irrelevent and and people don't care because a "loving" God won't send loving people to hell. That's the modern theology.

You are right on target with this message Steve. The day is fast approaching when Christ will return for his 'Elect' Saints, and the rest will suffer the results of the wrath of an almighty and Omnipotent God. He has been most patient with the human race for many centuries and has given adequate instructions for the salvation of His Elected few. I pray each day that I may be found fairhful to His instructions and that I may be counted among His Faithful Few who will enjoy His presence throughout eternity....

ANSWER NO! what is sad today tho, it isnt those OUTSIDE the church who say YES, to that, its the ones in the church who claim to be saved saying yes. SOMETHING Is rotten here, it stinks to the HIGH HEAVEN LORD. I get more people who claim to be saved, telling me IM NOT Loving or KIND and intolerant to say someone in a cult with another JESUS isnt saved. I SEE the enemy LIES within. ONE too many false conversions are happening.WHY? ONE too many unannointed pastors in the PULPITS is why. HOW can be they be taught correctly, when one too many men or women decide to be a PASTOR as a JOB. These people are no more called then then a bear is called on goose hunting day. THEY take the job as a job, with no wisdom or knowledge of the word. YET what do people do, they place their trust in a man, ( bible says NOT to, but of course they are lazy and do) and never go to the WORD and check out is that man pretending to a pastor correct, oh no, heaven forbid. SO, we do not have to go outside of the church to hear all ways lead to heaven, the enemy lies within. ITS about time to WISE UP people.
