Voddie Baucham was one of the keynote speakers at the Illinois Christian Home Educators conference this year. He is a man with a Godly vision for the church in this post Christian culture we are in. If you haven't read "The Ever-loving Truth", I encourage you to do so.
I was very surprised to see that after I emailed him for some advice on furthering my education, he answered back within 12 hours!
As Christianity tries to tread water in this culture, as it has given up ground in the sciences to the secular humanist, as it has allowed the well planned Satanic attack of worldliness to seep in throughout the years, Voddie, IMHO has the message to set us on the right track.

I, too, hold these same convictions, simply because they are Biblically mandated. The family is the primary institution for instruction, with the responsibility associated with instruction falling squarely on the parents. This does not preclude gathering together several families for worship or additional or supplementary instruction. Integration at the group level breeds misinformation, rationalization, and even rebellion. Many church houses are set up this way however. I believe to their detriment. Some folks believe that there is to be no delegaton of these instructional responsibilities whatsoever, and have chosen to home school or home church their families. I would suggest that some supplemental learning can be had through the public school system or the congregational church houses, but always with close parental oversight. Needless to say, many professing Christians around the world could benefit from heeding the message in this article. George Cancilla
