The section which lists questions about religious beliefs is interesting. Their cover story, "We're just finding out if your child is suited to pastor a church," is pathetic, as the office of pastor is NOT for the State to assign! God chooses those whom HE will to serve Him as it pleases HIM. You thus have a two-fold problem with their excuse.--Mrs. Pilgrim

Read God's Word. Then read The Humanist Manifesto and check who signed up...
Then, using the Bible as your Sword, practice slicing up the manifesto into itsy bitsy pieces. The Bible should not be 'revised' so you can stick with it. Once in a while The Humanist Manifesto is revised. This should occasion renewed slicing practise.
Cautionary NOTE: if your church appears to be more aligned with the manifesto than the Bible. CHANGE CHURCHES.
Secondary caution NOTE: if your revised 'bible' seems to agree with the Manifesto. CHANGE BIBLES.
Tertiary CAUTION. If you do not understand what I am getting at, BE VERY CONCERNED! Seek Godly counsel at once! PGW.

Wow! I had no idea that the educational system had gone that far. That's scary.

We humans are not to be herded like animals. God, not man (the State) has a slightly differing plan for each of us. True, God will have all who are saved in Christ, but we all will play a different part in this world. When the State wishes to control all factors of economic production, it does behoove the State to also control and direct the education of its constituents. It may even appear that such a condition would be very efficient, but history has proven otherwise. The prosperity and liberty associated with free markets has far outshined any attempts at State controled socialism. The idea of free markets, both in business and education, have brought much higher standards of living in countries where they are employed. "No child left behind" is a noble ambition that all parents should seek for their children, but they should take primary responsibility for that ambition. It does not take a village. George Cancilla
