It seems that the greed of multinational banks could be at least some of the cause of this situation. As the rich keep getting richer and patting themselves on the back for being industrious and smarter than the poor slobs who have lost everything because they are brutes who have no discipline, it would appear that the all-knowing author has chosen to lump all the poor into the heap of ne'r do wells who deserve the pain they receive. How unlike the Savior of mankind who he professes to speak for. Why not call greed to account? Why not lay at the feet of those who practice usury and unfair lending practices the sin of this struggle in the lives of the middle class who can barely survive - not because they are so foolish but because the major corps. have colluded to make more and more money at the expense of those who can barely afford to live?
