I've often wondered about the reasoning of "no child should be raised in poverty and hardship, so let's kill them". By the same token--in order to be consistent--they should also be supportive of snipers picking off kids on the inner-city playgrounds. After all, those little kids out there who LOOK happy are only fooling themselves, right? They can't possibly have a quality life, right? --Mrs. Pilgrim (This comment is NOT an endorsement of the stated conduct!!!)

11. In the rare case of pregnancy resulting from a rape (excluding Bosnia, where this was one of the many horrible war crimes committed en masse, and on purpose), we should NOT execute the CHILD for something the FATHER has done. We don't do this for any other crimes, why start here? Also, the unborn child is 50% the mother's genetics, regardless of who the father is. Shouldn't that make the child worthy of at least 50% of the love due to them? 12. There are thousands of childless people who would love to adopt these children, and murdering these babies deprives them of someone who would love them and rear them. One of the arguments commonly given for killing an unborn baby is that children would be a hindrance to the so-important life of the mother if kept and raised, personally, by the mother (and father, if present). Is nine months of gestation a proper sentence for an unbridled passing moment relationship of lust?
