The opostate swastika flying churches of Nazi Germany used Romans 13 in order to proclaim that it was every German's "Christian duty" To kill Jews.
Liberal churches use Romans 13 to justify liberal agendas such as the welfare state, condoms for kids, abortion, and other behaviors / programs when "Their President" is in power.
Now, we have neocon chris5tians invoking Romans 13 to justify a gospel of bombs & bullets, spending money we don't really have, open borders, and a host of other unBiblical actions.
When it comes to paying taxes, not stealing, murdering, and other basic laws, we are in fact to obey those in authority.
Using our legal rights under the Constitution in order to point out unBiblical behavior is not a violation of Romoans 13. Even if it were against the law to speak out, we should show our faith by accepting imprisonment for speaking out as many Prophets and all of the Opostles did.
As it is, we have a legal right to do so and since it is legal, we do not violate Romans 13. There is no Biblical command to become "Bushbots"

The very fact that verses like Romans chapter 13 are in the Scriptures, indicates that God expects His people to exercise some human responsibility; but only as God gives us leading of course. We are generally called to occupy until our Leader Jesus Christ returns. (See Luke 19:12-27). Notice that the servant who hides the talents (hides his head in the sand), is the one who is cast into outer darkness. We have a responsibility to rebel against any authority that would cause us to rebel against God. George Cancilla
