Some Jews have strayed from their original roots the same as people in the US have strayed from theirs. But how can the Jewish person really go back to it? Will they start sacrificing animals again? I don't think that would happen. Jew or Gentile, we all need Jesus to be our sacrifice. Nancy

When it comes to doctrine, I have always tried to make a connection with a Jew using the OT. Much to my surprise, I almost never am able to connect. Not only do Jews vote liberal for protection against anit Semitism, they also support abortion, homosexual rights (Notice I refuse to use the word that means content) and other social issues. "How can you stand for these things when it is written you shall not?" I would ask. Thier reply is usually shocking.
"Well, yo uhave to understand! Moses meant well but he simply didn't have access to modern science and enlightenment!" Would be the commona answer. "And what about the Prophets?" I would ask.
"The Prophets were men suffering from heatstroke and dehydration." Was the common response. I have come to the conclusion that the average Jew is as far from Moses & the Prophets as they are from Christ. One Jewish Commentator remarked "If Moses were in charge of Isreal today, he would end up executing half the population!"
Why do too many Jews vote Liberal? They are too far from their faith. Like many Christians, they claim the name but don't practice it.
