As is not uncommon, Mr. Lewis exhibits more concern with living children being troubled by seeing that which their parents approve than he is with saving children from death. But perhaps he is right that abortion clinics are not the best places to be showing pictures of aborted babies. Perhaps they should be shown outside of churches on Sunday morning. After all, abortion remains legal because the Church does not want it to be illegal. 99% of the evangelical and conservative Catholic churches in this country have never lifted afinger or said a word aginst legalized abortion. And today the only clamor is that we should say less about abortion and refocus our (non) efforts to fight global warming or something.
