Should we trust our politicians at all levels? How many of them are not liars?
Don't all of them speak from both sides of their mouth? A villain is always a villian. A liar is always a liar unless he/she is truly tranformed by the saving grace of God. As Age 64, AL who responded to "National sellout, National Tragedy" came up with a n insightful statement: "We elect people who are just like we are. That is the problem".

Perhaps it all begins within the walls of our own Churches. How can we cry out against abortion, family breakdown, and other vices of the world when too many of us practice them within the fellowship?
Paul preached that one sign of being within the faith is when the world ridicules you for not participating in the imoral practices the world considers normal but God considers an abomination. The godless left does not do that. It points back and says "You do it too!" And all too many of us reel back in embarassment.
It has once been said that God appoints two kinds of leaders for a nation. One who is better than what the people deserve and one who is exactly what the people deserve.

Coach this may be your best article that I have read. I read the sermon by Finney but I doubt many will read it. It is the leaders of the church that need to read this article and what Charles Finney accuses the pulpit in this nation of. I think what Finney said is really true. Lou
