The man did not use the law that you are forbidden to spank your child as an example of sharia law. He said that anyone who is so gutless as to leave a government tell him how to raise his own child will not stand against anything. If one is so against violence as to be against spanking, how could they ever stand against violence. At it's present birth rate the population of Europeans will decline. And Muslims are breeding closer to the birth rate of rabbits. Anyone who knows the math knows it will not take long for the Muslims to outnumber the Europeans. One really destructive thing about homosexuality is that two men can in no way have a child. The same is true for two women. Science has made many advances and some not good. But it has not found out how two people of the same sex can have a baby. Babylon conquered Jerusalem because Jerusalem was so evil. Babylon was in Iraq. Iraq is close to the geographic center of the Muslim world and the decedents of Babylon are Muslim. It would not be hard to imagine the Muslims taking over Europe. It would be nice if Europe would repent. But this could depend on how deep they let themselves fall into homosexuality. The Bible clearly indicates with the story of Sodom that this sin is the ultimate rebellion against God. They even tried to rape angels. Look at the gutless citizens in the USA. They see their children being raped by these sexual perverts yet they go to the polls and OK same sex marriage. Lou

Which Sharia laws are already mandated in Europe, Canada and the US? I haven't heard about this. Are you saying that spanking has been outlawed because of a commitment to the principles of fundamentalist Islam? I thought that the anti-spanking attitudes were borne of more "liberal" or "secular humanist" principles, i.e. the dead opposite of fundamentalist Islam. And why would "sheer numbers" make you think that Sharia law would be enacted? I don't know of any "pure" democracies in Europe - or anywhere on earth, for that matter. Sharia law is flatly inconsistent with all of the major constitutions that I know of (certainly the American one, which guarantees rights that we would not have under (certain interpretations of) Sharia law). You really see a wholesale revocation of, say, the Bill of Rights coming down the pike?

I found this interview very interesting. The caption indicates it is "Part II" ... where do I find Part I?

I hope Jan Markell and her readers note Ralph Peters' emphatic conclusion. When asked "Could parts of Europe one day be governed by Sharia law?" he answers: "There is zero chance of Europe becoming Eurabia or of parts of Europe being governed formally by Sharia law. The whole Eurabia/the-Muslims-are-taking-over hysteria is nuts. Even if Swedes will no longer fight for Lutheranism, by God, theyll kill without remorse to keep their saunas." Thank goodness for someone of common sense on here! There's enough paranoia and conspiracy there elsewhere - we don't need to fan the unnecessary flames of fear by speaking irresponsibly about the United States or Europe letting the Muslims "take over" or enact Sharia law. That's all just nonsense - good for Peters to point out the obvious!

I'm confused as why it is claimed that Europe will not fall into Islam as the main religion, or become "Eurabia" when it is actually happening as I type this reply. Sharia law is ALREADY being practiced in parts of Europe, attempted to be practiced in parts of Canada and even the United States. It is a crime in Europe to spank a child. Spanking is considered a cruel crime. I'm supposed to believe that Europeans are now going to find the guts to stand up to Muslims who are rapidly immigrating and having children at a much greater rate than native Europeans when they think spanking is violent? Anyone who has made a quick study of the statistics knows that by shear reproduction the Muslims will over take Europe in a few decades. The spiritual awakening that Europe is most likely to see will unfortunately come with increasing calls for Sharia law, and increasing violence as seen in France.
