The article was about "ILLEGALS". So, the comments were on "illegals". The bible clearly states for us to obey the laws of the land. I have no problem with people from other countries coming to America, but they must go through proper procedures to become citizens. It's those who come over and think they are above the law and don't have to pay taxes, abide by the same laws that citizens do, and wave their flags of their native country. Our forefathers sacrificed too much to build this country on Christian principles. We have enough trouble with our citizen's debating this fact without having others come in to help destroy it.

The comment was "see the vast numbers of illegals, most of whom have come from Mexico".

I find it amazing that professed Christians are ignorant about what having a "Christian World View" means. Secondly, a sincere Christian would apply a fully-orbed Biblical instruction to themselves in ALL ways in order to have a Christian World View. What I've read here by those other commentors is the inability to apply Biblical instruction. It is likely those who want "ILLEGAL" aliens to be loosed on the streets of America is they hold a global socialist believe which is contrary to Biblical instruction. The key here is that ILLEGAL is not a "sick bird" but a LAW BREAKER. Now, for you who accept and support law breakers it may serve you well to be a Berean and search the scriptures to prove to yourself what I say is true (Acts 17:11). One of the Ten Commandments (still applicable to Christians) is "Thou shalt not steal". Illegal aliens crossing illegally into America is STEALING freedom and liberty which our U.S. Constitution does not provide to criminal illegals. It applies to U.S. Citizens. The crux of the problem lies not solely with President George W. Bush, but he certainly is GUILTY of not protecting real American citizens and should be impeached for his abuse of the U.S. Constitution and failure to uphold his sworn Oath of Office. Next, the blame is upon the U.S. State Department (Condi Rice and her apostate leadership) for failure to protect Americans from the invasion of illegals, mostly Mexican citizens. Then there's the Department of Homeland Security, and ICE who are failing to protect Americans, not only from illegal aliens but terrorists entering America via the southern border. The U.S. Congress is also at fault for embracing global socialism via secular humanism and so-called liberally progressive Democrats and Republicans. Spiritual ignorance is shameful and it is springing forth from pulpits throughout America. Liberalism has found its way into the Christian church in America and it's called liberal social evangelicalism - apostasy at every turn. The reverential fear of God is no longer preached. In its stead is "feel good theology" coming from Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Tony Campola, and many others. These apostate leaders are leading blind sheep to eternal destruction for self-gain. It is oh, so clear, why so many professed believers will miss Christ's great "catching up" of the true church while they enter the Great Tribulation and suffer greatly. Even so, many will reject what I say... but it really is from God, so they're continually rejecting God to chase after men and their own dysfunction...a lack of spiritual discernment - to worship socialism.

Chuck, thanks for clearing up that your view is purely political and has absolutely nothing to do with spiritual issues. Chuck, Jesus taught that we should render to Caesar, those things that belong to Caesar and to God, those things that belong to God. Chuck, Christians who read articles on this site are suppose to belong to God. Politics are not to be a primary importance to any Christian, rather a Christians worldview is the responsibility to carry out Jesus last directive: The Great Commission. Therefore, a real Christian should care less about this issue. All Christians should see are more souls to witness to and more opportunity to be obedient to Jesus and God. Sorry, Chuck, but your rant should not resonate with any obedient Christian who wants to serve God and Jesus

Good, let them in and tell them about Jesus. Treat them with the love of Christ and lead them to repentance, they may have never heard the Gospel in Mexico! This country is done anyway! Mike

People like tom tancredo would only aggravate and expedite a confrontation with Mexico. The sensible thing would be to openly aid mexico in building its economy and establishing a high standard of life for its citizens. Then they wouldn't have a reason to leave, and American businesses would have a whole new market.

I agree. It might already be too late to do anything about it. How can we send 30 million people back where they came from? It's a shame that our leaders have slapped the face of our fore-fathers who shed blood and lost lives to build this country. Our leaders are (Robinhood) taking what is ours and handing it over to those who are too lazy and greedy to gain citizneship the right way and pay taxes like the rest of us. What about our poor and elderly who are citizens? We could be helping them with the tax money that is being spent on illegal aliens. Our government has an agenda and is becoming weak because of it. Every other country knows it. It's sad, but what can we do?

Mr. Baldwin, Your article is informative but biased to one group of illegals. Are there no Russian illegals,German illegals,Asian illegals, African illegals? If you are going to talk about illegals then you should talk about ALL illegals, not just one group. Respectfully, Olga L. Gonzalez

Sobering facts, and they are just the tip of the iceberg. I can't agree with your conclusion though. I believe it is already too late. Ignorance, apathy and self interest have already made this a non issue for the majority of Americans. Someone will eventually get tired of it and you will see a very ugly incident involving a lot of blood. That will be the excuse used (along with who knows what other catastrophe) to impose martial law or worse. It's not going to get better and it's time the church realized it. Of course the church is too busy being purpose driven and accepted by the world's standards to have a clue. This whole illegal immigration crisis is a good illustration of the apostasy which has invaded the church. We have been betrayed by those who should be protecting us and have been "invaded" by those who insist that we conform to their unregenerate view of Christianity. God's continuing judgment falls upon this nation and very few are willing to call it what it so obviously is.
