The two stories of creation seem to be contradictory unless you realize that in the first description Adam was created outside the garden and then placed inside the garden and in the second description Eve was created inside the garden. Two different points of view, one creation, no contradiction

What I would like to know more about and feel more confident about as a christian is - how the 66 books were chosen - i.e. the canonization process. Who made those critical decisions? I heard an attack by a teacher that " a bunch of men sat around a table and pick and chose for their own political and social gain". I know that was not how it went down. But, have also heard that it was during King James reign that the Bible was assembled in it's present form of 66 books. That would lend some credibility to the political argument. I don't see how what the Carlsons wrote really answers the question of the Bible being the inspired Word of God. I want to be able to "be prepared to give an answer..." as it says in 1Peter3:15 and "...make the most of every opportunity...know how to answer everyone." as Colossians 3:5,6 states. Thank you for your consideration of this post.

The concept of the challenge is very interesting, however the problem is that the Bible does not, on its face, meet your test either. Genesis for example contains two different creation stories, now these two stories can be harmonized if one is willing to look with the eyes of faith but on their face they are contradictory. Similarly, if one, incorrectly it should be added, insists on contorting the Hebrew linguistics to claim that the "7 days" in Genesis to mean 7 24-hour periods then the Bible contains "no errors" only if one insists on buying into the ridiculous "young earth" theory. In short, while the concept of your test is interesting the reality simply shows that no matter how clear one may regard the "proof" coming to God, through Christ, is ultimately about faith and not emperical tests.
