This is a very interesting article, but I really think you are leaving out the most obvious information, and the most credible basis for your argument. 'Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these;' THAT BY THESE!! Our God made these great and precious promises from the beginning of His Word. And all throughout His Word. These promises said that we would be blessed in this life, and in the life to come, if we obey His words. The blessings are very specific, and involve all aspects of life. These promises also involved curses, which were also very detailed and specific. And these curses lead to the lake of fire. By not escaping the corruption that is in the world through lust, we are subject to the curses. But our partaking in the divine nature is a direct result of obedience to His Word. That Word has remained unchanged from Genesis to Revelation, was slain from the foundation of the world, and has come in the flesh in these last days to reveal the Father to us.
