Gary's Report from Washington

People don't learn from history Gary, like the scripture says. and even if it is last election time, to vote for the lessor of the two evils is sitting on the fence. Instead of voting for the right , good man and trusting the G-d you claim you serve, knowing that McCain is a globalist, a phony who signed and sealed the gov paperwork to keep us from getting our troops still in Nam out. We all know he gave the commie's information to get out !! That said, I think you and all of us know what else he is up to. I was shocked at some of the so called higher well know pastors like Dobson, who would put their name to suport Rudy, the one for same sex couples, abortion, ilegal immigration and is a globalist too, a cross dresser , and was caught cheating on his present wife..apostasy is in full bloom and the real heavy deception is on its way in, like a tumble weed picking up speed. You cannot sit on the fence..how about all you so called men of G-d, go INdependant and pick Ron Paul for President, a real honest broker, a Constitutional man, standing on all America was built on. We are a Republic but are being played as if we are a Democracy. How long will it take for people to get out their dictionaries and read the difference, A Republic is where WE vote and WE are served. A Democracy is where we vote and the President does as he likes in all unlawfulness. That is the mess we are in..G-d will not be mocked, and Israel cand defend Herself if she doesn't have the dictator in the US telling her she much suport the enemies and aid and suport them. G-d said, remove the evil man from you till you can see his arm no more. He also said to smite those who try to lift or take the land. Forked tounges..they know they are helping to aid Islam to destroy Israel, and ones like you and the apostasy church who are all signed up under the Catholic cult is heading for Rome, they are the church who will be in the pews after the rapture...WE are either for G-d or against HIM..we are NOT to learn the ways of the heathen nor think Mary is part of Salvation. No wonder the Jews don't trust the church..Time is short, HE is coming, not as the babe in the cradle, but as the LION of JUDEA..Time is up..If the world loves yu,,well they hated the L-rd too, we are to rejoice if they hate us..Anyone who dabbles in the occult , G-d says they are a part of it. Why would you think it ok to suport anyone against the scripture and think G-d OK's it..you are getting more blind and I do pray for you to turn it around and maybe if you did many would follow G-d instead of man who never saved anyone,,much less old Rick Warren who meets with the POPE and Weekly by phone or in person. You must have know Rick was part of the foreign relations to make the one world religon and now Saudi lets the Catholic build its first chruch there. Maybe it is because the pope told them they worshiped the same god..and they do...Get back to the word, read it for yourself and know the time is near, even at the door. And weather? G-d controls the weather and said in the psalms He would use it to try waking us up before HE destroyed us for hurting Israel and for disobedience. HE means it ! We can only pray and keep trying to wake up the mases,, doing what the L-rd wants and not man...

I would NOT suport him either. Here we have ONE CHANCE to take our country back..Ron Paul the only honest one of the global bunch. which he is not. One that would NOT ditate to Israel or anyone. Too bad we did not go into Iraq for Victory. to bad we went into Afgan for drugs..To bad we were not faithful to G-d's chosen. Too bad you all believe Bush and his toadie's lies. Even as they still lie about the economy and help and aid and appease and nation build the Islamic enemies of both Israel the US and the world, infilerating here. We have thrown out G-d, His Word, the churches are in apostay and most don't even care they are fed the biggest lie of all, that they are to build G-d's kingom and are running to Rome. they have the other Jesus, the one I serve says MY KINGDOM is not of this world and no one sits on the fence. Satan is a liar. And now after the promise of Islam to put their flag over our white house, America can't wait for that either. It is like a woman betrayed who is scorned, and they fall for the first con man who has been primed for this very day years ago..belonging to the biggest cult ever..and they are going to help America become Islamic. We are lawless, and all they seem to care about in Wash is money, control , power and for the ones who believe in Genesis 12:3 we are leaving and the pews will be full. Now the EU will rule under Islam,,it will be a terrible day to late to see what is going on,,

I emailed Gary months ago to get his take on Mike Huckabee and was surprised to hear back from him. He offered his "concerns" about the governor in regards to issues that were less pressing than the conservative stance he took on social issues. Huckabee has been unwaivering on these issues and many believed the lies about the others. Gary, Jim, Pat, Bob and others greatly disappointed evangelical Christiandom. God blesses our obedience, not our strategies. May He have mercy on us if it is not too late.

The sad thing is, Gary, we have given financial support to your organization, because we believed in what you stood for, when you were at the FRC. Yet, just like the Lib's do us, you decide you know what's best, regardless of what your supporters believe. Why didn't you survey us, first, before announcing your decision? And...Tony Perkins has followed in your footsteps. I plan on never giving another dollar of support to FRC.

Why did you merely point to a website instead of giving specific examples? I'm not going to waste my time reading the site to try to find whatever your point may be. If you're going to offer accusations, please be courteous enough to back them up with specific examples...unless you can't...

The answers are not quite so easy as you think, Scienceboy. First of all, the Bible does address your first concern, as we see that we are intended to love our neighbor as ourselves, and also to love our enemy and do good to him. There are different versions of the Bible because the original was not written in English but in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. Different versions are our human attempts to translate the word of God into language that we can understand and apply more readily. The King James Version was written at a 12th grade level, however, most people in the US can read only at the 8th grade level or less.
Please name these scholars that you are "quoting" so that I can research their findings on these claims. The major difference I see between the Bible and the Koran is that the Bible says love your enemies, and the Koran says convert your enemies or kill them.
What is your interpretation of the meaning of life? What is your hope for the future? For your future life? When you connect the dots from all the clues we are given in the Bible you come up with purpose, meaning, significance and relevance, along with acceptance and love. What is so difficult about embracing that?

ScienceBoy,
Unfortunately you will have all of eternity to share such things with like minded "scienceboys". Oh but wait, when you die you will then know the truth, The Living Lord - Jesus Christ at who's feet you will proclaim as Lord. Repent of your sins and give your life to Jesus or burn in hell for all eternity! This is the truth! I pray that God be merciful on your soul and give you the gift of faith that leads to salvation. Science can't save you, intellect can't save you, Only Jesus Can!!!! It breaks my heart to think that any one would have to endure eternal separation from God especially someone so deceived by science. You are worshipping the creation rather than the Creator! May you find Him before it is too late!

I agree 110%. I also have more questions. Why does the Bible never explicitly denounce slavery or racism? How can there be different versions of a book that apparently is infallable? How come scholars have proved that large portions of the Bible and Koran are actually laregely the same if they are supposed to be so radically different? Religious zealeouts will find thousands of ways to dodge your questions and mine by saying the Bible is "reporting" and that the atrocities are in there to show what not to do, but don't actually answer the questions... much like a politician answers questions. "The God Myth" and "Loophole: Religious Shortfalls" highlight these. My favourite passage from the former: "Monotheisc religious Gods, by their very definition, can't exist. As soon as you introduce interpretation and grey areas, infallabilty is impossible". Eye opening to say the least! Cheers - ScienceBoy

Haha, don't slippery slide! By your definition Saddam didn't torture people, he just "reported it" ;). EvilBible.com has all the answers you seek. *Reporting* imples that the writers are telling what happened. This is not the case, the aformentioned attrocities are *promoted* because they are in the form of instructions. There is no grey area here, the Bible tells you exactly why you should do the said things. Very gruesome and twisted. Cheers - ScienceBoy

Would you like some answers to questions and confusions? I can help or you could go to www.probe.org. They've got a lot of excellent articles on the subject of bible difficulties, or there's a book by Dr. Norm Geisler, who wrote a whole book about all the different 'contradictions' in the Bible. Have a great day!

I stopped reading the Bible when I realized that the Gospel writers couldn't even agree on the the details of the most important event in the history of the world, the Crucifiction. Did Christ himself carry his cross, or did someone else? How long was he gone for? Also, backing up a few years, How are we to know where He was born, and what happened after his birth, when the Bible gives different accounts of both?

I don't know where you are going with this article, but reason #1 should be: Because there is no standard Bible. versions of scripture.
The King James needs to be retained.

Amazing how the wolves come out when some plain and simple truth is put in front of them.
The Bible does not contradict itself anywhere.
People love to be God in their minds to make things conform to what their wordly wants are instead of doing the will of God as His servant.
People also hate to read the Bible because it makes everyone who ever reads its print uncomfortable sooner or later. The truth will do that to all of us.
Thank God for His Word...

Dear Dr. Kroll,
I believe the real reason people do not read the Bible is fear.
1. Fear that it will take a long time.
2. Fear that they will miss a TV Show, or other activity.
3. Fear that it will expose sin in their life.
4. Fear that people might think they are a zealot.
5. Fear that they might become more religious.
6. Fear that they might start spouting scripture.
7. Fear that their life might change.
At least some of these fears are well founded. You have to give up some personal time to read the Bible daily. You will miss some TV shows, which is probably a good thing. Reading the Bible will expose sin in your life. If you want to hang onto sin, then you are wasting your time trying to be a Christian. You have to release the sin to serve God.
By reading your Bible daily, you will know scripture, and apply it to your life. Yes, you might even state a verse to someone who is doing something addressed by the Bible. You may be called a zealot, or accused of being "Holier than thou". So what? There are worse things to be called.
Finally, if you read the Bible daily, your life will definitely change. The Bible is the living infallible, incorruptible, inerrant, unchanging, everlasting Word of God. You cannot read the Bible without it changing you.
To the Athiest, Keep reading the word because it will work in your heart too.
To the Agnositic, read it daily and you too will believe.
To the Christian, read the word like it is your lifeline keeping you out of the Lake of Fire, because it is.
I read the Bible almost daily for the last fourteen years and I can say it changed my life. That is fourteen trips from Genesis to Revelation. Am I better than you? No way!
Has it made me perfect? Not at all. It held a mirror up to my life so I see my sin through God's eyes. Has my life changed? Absolutely! I pray that your life will change too.
Unimportant things fell away, and God replaced them with important things but I still must die daily and not get puffed up.
If I do not humble myself, God will allow me to stumble, and humble myself anyway.
Read your Bible and Pray daily. You will never be the same.

The Bible does not approve of all it records. As far as rape, torture, etc. I'd like to know exactly which verses PROMOTE (not REPORT) these points (except for homophobia, because the assumption with that statement sir is that homosexuality is not a sin.) Read my response in Robert Meyer's column for more detail. Have a great day!

I'm an Atheist but I have read the Bible (King William and New Jerusalem versions) and I know above all else why people would not want to read it now. Between the paragraphs of good will and love for thy fellow man there are passages promoting torture, rape, sexism, homophobia, murder and slavery, amongst other atrocities. To be quire frank sir, the reason why many people don't choose to read it is because it's a scary, vile book. - ScienceBoy
