Wow. We define things so narrowly.
Life begins at conception? Does someone have a soul at conception?
If so, what happens in the case of an identical twin ... where the egg splits AFTER conception? Does God then "dump" another soul in? Which baby gets to keep the original soul?
I think we're often more anti-abortion than we are pro-life. Notice I said "we".
If we're really concerned about the babies then maybe we should hold signs saying you AND your baby can move in with me. I'll help you get on your feet and I'll help you raise that baby and send him / her to college. Do we really love the baby or do we just want them to not kill it?
I do think it's wrong to kill babies. But I think it's probably almost as bad to bring them into the world to abuse and neglect. So, let's work on the whole package. Let's LOVE the baby AND the mom. Let's make abortion virtually unnecessary!

it's scary to think that hillary thinks SHE is a conservative Christian. sorry hill but NOT EVEN AFTER PIGS FLY could you be considered conservative anything much less Christian. God is judging every word we speak and she will be held accountable. I am truly thankful for Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for me even when i didn't deserve it. His gift of love has saved me. He paid the debt i owed and can never repay. the only thing i can do and any Christian can do is what my pastor says - research the candidates ALL OF THEM no matter the office - down to the dog catcher - and hold up their record and life against the inspired Word of God. if you vote for a candidate who believes in abortion and gay marriage you have just sinned against God in my opinion. thanks todd for a very insightful article. i can only pray that more Christians read your article and become more discerning on the candidates and their pastors.
