We need a moratorium on immigration

Needless to say, illegal immigrants should not be permitted in the U.S. But regular immigration needs to be curtailed until our economy is productive once again. Unemployment is extremely high at the current time, and it would unfair to existing citizens to have to compete with new ones. It matters not if the immigrants be Spanish or Palestinian.
