Senator Boxer Asks State Department to Expedite the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child
After Ambassador Susan Rice's inability to make an "iron-clad commitment" for immediate ratification, Boxer will ask Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for U.S. support of the UNCRC.
The U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which opponents say could destroy American sovereignty by imposing international rulings on American law, could reach the Senate within 60 days. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) says she wants a 60-day timeframe for the State Department to complete its review so the Senate can move toward ratification of the UNCRC. During the Senate Confirmation hearing between Boxer and UN Ambassador-designate Susan Rice held on January 15, 2009, Boxer told Rice the UNCRC would protect "the most vulnerable people of society."
Opponents vehemently disagree. Under the Supremacy Clause (Article VI) of the U.S. Constitution, ratified treaties preempt state law. Since virtually all laws in the U.S. regarding children are state laws, this treaty would negate nearly 100% of existing American family law. Moreover, it would grant the government authority to override parental decisions by applying even to good parents a standard now only used against those convicted of abuse or neglect.
In the hearing, Rice promised to review the treaty but noted "challenges of domestic implementation." Rice also resisted a strict timeframe: "I don't have a sense of how long it will take us, in light of the many different things on our plate," she said.
Calling it a "complicated treaty," Rice expressed her commitment to the treaty's objectives, but when Rice concluded that she could not meet the Senator's strict timeframe, Boxer said they would take it up with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Some of the most vulnerable among us were those United States citizens who lost their lives because of Dr. Tiller's Partial Birth Abortion procedure. During U.S. Senate debate over it, Sen. Boxer actually said that "it isn't a child until it is taken home from the hospital." This rationale is outrageous in a supposed "civilized" society!

AMEN! Unfortunately God has stated He places men/women in positions to Bless us or Chastise us. The Ignorant, corrupt, lazy have continously put the likes of them in office. "Birds of a feather flock together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The American people have erred and most don't even know it! God help us who do know and tried to counter their attempts to destroy this country. Can we even turn this around, not without a miracle from God and is it His perfect wil in action to Judge this world system? We'll see, or hopeully if so we WON'T see! Maranatha! Keep Looking Up!

In the article, Boxer is quoted as saying: Boxer told Rice the UNCRC would protect "the most vulnerable people of society."
This is supposedly talking about children. As such it is the height of hypocrisy since Boxer is 100% in favor of abortion on demand. Unborn children are "the most vulnerable people of society." You cannot approve killing millions of children in their mother's wombs and at the same time pretend to be an advocate of children worldwide. The real agenda here is for big government to get control of America's children and eradicate all true knowledge of Christianity from their minds. Understanding this one fact puts Boxer's statement in context.

Boxer is a horrible representative for this nation in any context. She is a traitor to the Constitution, and the people of this nation. Just another elected official that wants to destroy this sovereign nation as soon as possible. And knows good and well she has a friend in the White House to help do it. Treason is treason, and these horrible reps in Washington spew it on a daily basis like vomit.

I pray for her Salvation, But at the sametime, I pray that God will remove her from a position that will give her the ability to destroy the Family.
