Obama: Compassion For Terrorists - Death For Babies

There is no doubt in my mind that this article will cause some Christians to be very angry at me. It is, unfortunately, something I am getting used to (well maybe I will never get used to it). Never the less, what I am about to say must be said.
During the election campaign there was a lot of talk about where the "Evangelical" vote would go. As you know the Evangelical vote had been solidly pro-life and thus it would go with the pro life candidate. There was an understanding that all other issues were trumped by this issue simply because nothing could possibly rise to the level of the right to live. We all know the Declaration of Independence contains the understanding that God has given everyone the right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Without the right to live, one can't have liberty or pursue anything. It is the fundamental right of every human not to have their innocent (in human terms) life taken by any other human, or State. (The death penalty is for another discussion). Once a society rationalizes the taking of innocent human life, the society will have no problem taking all Constitutional liberty and pursuits of happiness.
I warned over and over about Obama being a radical pro abortion liberal. I also warned about his socialist, anti Constitution world view. What did he do the first week of his presidency? With all the issues facing us as a nation I ask you again; what did he do? One of the first things he did was to order the closing of the Guantanamo bay terrorist prison camp because he is concerned about the terrorists. What else did he do his first week in office? He expanded tax payer abortions thereby killing even more babies while you pay for it. Compassion for terrorists and death for innocent babies? That is neither hope or change we can believe in. Certainly the babies who will die will not even hear the grand platitudes of President Barack Obama. Hope and change will not apply to them.
I ask you Christians who voted for Obama. Are you pleased? Are you getting mad at me for telling you the truth? This is a stiff rebuke to you. You are complicit in this. It is one thing if you vote for someone who misrepresents their position and then turns on you. It is another if the person clearly represents himself to be in favor of killing babies (even supporting partial birth abortion), and you vote for him anyway. It is a disgrace that Christians who knew his position voted for him because they though it would help them personally (financially or otherwise). Stop rationalizing your vote. Stop telling yourself you did the right thing. You did not!
Many in the liberal world are telling me that I need to get behind the president for the sake of unity. Well isn't that interesting. The mantra for the last eight years of the left has been "dissent is patriotic." Is not my dissent also patriotic? The sad thing is that many Christians who voted for Obama are getting mad at me saying that I should stop "bashing" the president. Bashing? Is that what I am doing in a country that is supposed to have free political and religious speech? Bashing?
What would you have me do? Say nothing about this murder of innocent life? Say nothing? Just let it go? On the contrary. I will be a prophetic voice to my country. I must speak the truth or else woe unto me if I do not. I have been told that I should "pray for the President". On that I agree totally and will pray for him. I however will pray the for will of God rather than the will of man. My prayer for President Obama is the he will come to the knowledge of the true biblical Jesus Christ as Savior. Not the Jesus he has made up in his mind. My prayer is also that he would come to an understanding of the principles of which this country was built on. The principles "endowed by our creator"; Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
President Bush and many who call themselves "Conservatives" (they are not Conservatives), have said they want President Obama to be successful. What does that mean? Certainly we all want the President to succeed in defending us from foreign enemies, and other basic things. However, do we really want him to be successful in his plans to expand abortion, increase central power, increase homosexual rights,and make us a Socialist country? No No No! I want the president to fail at his attempt to destroy the Constitution. I will not pray that he is successful in his quest to do so. I will resist his efforts to destroy my country. Consider this;
1) In Mathew chapter fourteen in verses three and four it is recorded that John the Baptist rebuked Herod because he had taken his brothers wife. Herod had John arrested and eventually beheaded because the Prophet had the guts to rebuke him. Was that bashing?
2) In Daniel chapter three the three Hebrew young men defied the King and would not bow to his image. Why did they not pray for the Kings success?
3) Daniel himself not only defied the rules about not praying, he opened his window so he could be seen in defiance of the ungodly rule. Daniel broke the law?
4) In Acts chapter seven the Deacon Stephen rebuked the Sanhedrin. The Sanhedrin was the supreme council of the Jews. They were both religious leaders and political leaders. Steven rebuked them sharply when he said " Which of the Prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the just one; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers." Was Stephen unkind?
We certainly want to respect our leaders and pray for them however the Bible teaches us that we must "Obey God rather than man" (Acts 5:29).
Christians, if you voted for Obama, repent. Do not let pride convince you that you did the right thing. I warned you in February of 2008 the following things:
I warned that a vote for Obama would be a vote for these and more
1) More dead babies (he has done it)
2) More government (Two trillion in new government power grabs)
3) More globalism (More United Nations power with desire for a "global tax")
4) More regulation of speech, so called hate speech legislation (re-institution of the "fairness doctrine")
5) Less personal responsibility ( Bail out after bail out)
Christian, after seeing with your own eyes that Obama's first week in office has brought you expanded tax payer abortion, how can you honestly get mad at me for telling you that you were deceived to support this man? Have I now become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Wake up, shake the dust, lose the pride, and repent. God's grace is sufficient for us when we come to him with repentance.

I love how you brought out that that "the powers that be are ordained of God." And I for one agree with most of what you wrote in your post - thank you for speaking up! Yes, God is sovereign, and He can turn the hearts of world leaders to do His will. Even if people resist Him, and refuse to do what they know to be right, He can use even these circumstances for good in this world.
The following is not so much part of my response directly to you, but more comments I wanted to share with everyone reading this...
God's kingdom is not of this world, and if our first allegiance is to Christ (which it should be if we are Christians), we must live by the teachings of Jesus Christ who taught the way of peace and nonresistance. The book, "A Change of Allegiance," by Dean Taylor (his own personal journey as he grappled with questions such as, "What should a Christian do with Jesus' words "love your enemies"?, Is it all right for a Christian to go to war?, Doesn't a Christian have an obligation to defend his country?" and the answers he found in God's Word) really shows from a scriptural standpoint the place a Christian should take in relation to politics, war, and the affairs of this world. God said, "If my people which are called by my name shall pray and humble themselves and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and heal their land." Is this not what we need today in America? Let's pray for revival in our own lives and the lives of all believers across our nation - when the hearts of all God's people in a country turn to him the unbelievers will sit up and take notice, and rather than being disgusted by the blatant dishonesty and immorality, etc. that is evident in the lives of many professing Christians, they will see the Light of Christ shining through the lives of God's people and bringing many more to Him - the way it's supposed to be. Think about what a powerful testimony this could be and what change could come about through the power of God working in and through His people!

We are in a war, I do not believe we should be fighting about repulicans and democrats veiws, but we better wake up to what is really going on in the US Government. I do not believe these are dentention centers for imigrants. I think they are for anyone who will not cooporate with the North American Coalition. Maranotha Lord!

US troops are back home in America to wage war upon the people of the US. New laws make public dissent of any kind --however peaceful --an act of 'terrorism'. Congress was threatened with martial law, literally blackmailed, into passing the infamous and ineffective bailout! The threat of martial law, therefore, is not only in the official record, it is made clear with the arrival of US troops withdrawn from Iraq to patrol US streets, control crowds, deal with 'civil unrest'. Bluntly --they are here to wage war on you unless you happen to be among about one percent who owns more than 90 percent of the nation's total wealth.
It was in 1999 that the government contracted to Kellogg, Brown and Root, a subsidiary of Dick Cheney's Halliburton, huge contracts to build a FEMA archipelago of 800 camps in secret locations across the across the US. They have ovens. They have --at their disposal --the government's recent acquisition of about 500,000 plastic coffins. What is the 'innocent' explanation for this secret that is no secret? There is no innocent explanation! In fact, fact the new laws are designed to fill up the camps. Peaceful activists may be arrested, detained and denied 'Due Process of Law' if anyone in authority but 'deems' to be 'terrorism'. Any public dissent of any type --however peaceful --is defined to be acts of 'terrorism'.

So to expect every president to be a Christian is UN reasonable. - The Lord Jesus Christ is The Creator of the whole universe and no other has any RIGHT in this world except for Him. Jesus has ALL authority and no other has any authority. But do not blame The Lord Jesus for the sins of this nation. Man has made Satan the god of this world. Just because Jesus allows man to choose does not give man the right to choose any other than The Lord Jesus. George Bush did not follow The Lord Jesus as he should have. So your answer is to vote for and support a man who makes a mockery of the laws of the Lord Jesus. The nation was not started by men, but The Lord Jesus sent devout men to start this nation. It was Christians who spent their blood, sweat, and tears to establish this land. God had every right to make this land a land with Christian laws for He is the Creator of all. We let others come to this land with the condition that they would follow our Christian laws. Now you say these newcomers who did not establish this land with their blood , sweat, and tears should be able to change this land to a ungodly land like the homeland they fled from. God has given all men a choice, but no man has a right to choose any other than the One who Created them and gives them life every day. The Lord Jesus has every right to expect us to choose a man who follows Him for our president. In fact the Lord Jesus demands that every person choose and follow Him or they will go to death and destruction. If this is our eternal destiny, don't you think it should be our temporal goal. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. I don't agree with what Obama has done to our children either, but as christians we need to pray for his salvation and our Nation. We need to remember that,"united we stand,divided we fall". Who are we fighting against? Obama or Satan?

Thank you so much for your article - we, too, were warning others of impending doom should B.O. be elected. Have seen supposed Christians putting their pocketbooks on the top of their priority lists instead of Godly moral values - life, no matter the age or situation; to do and think that what is pure, blameless, holy, righteous...I am praying that we get another opportunity to elect a praying man to office, a follower of Christ Jesus. I'm suspecting however that B.O. is leading to the end times and Christians may not have another opportunity to have a say in how our government is run and what our elected officials behave.

It also needs to be said that Bush did not reverse Roe vs. Wade. This is one genie I do not think will be put back in the bottle. However much we hate it! I am 100% solidly against abortion. That being said it will not be the president that makes the change; rather it will be in the hands of the Supreme Court or the Senate & Congress to revoke the law. When we turn our fight against the president we are not moving in the direction that will get the job done!
As far are closing GITMO, it needs to be done. Since when did Jesus Christ approve of torture, the things that were being done there are as despicable as abortion.
Since when did we gain the right to agree with the cruel torture or humans?
George Bush lied to the whole country, he as left us with a legacy of financele ruin, 2 wars at 400 million a day. He would sign
off on the insurance for children in the USA that otherwise would not have healthcare at all.
I for one am sick and tired of the two faced approach I see many Christians feigning. Murder and torture is okay but not abortion. George Bush can start illegal wars that kill hundreds of thousands of people, but their not Christians so they don't count. I believe that people who have this mentality need to go back to the teachings of Jesus Christ and review what he taught. I have found that militant Christians make more enemies than converts. Our job, as it were, is to take the good news to all the nations and live our lives as close to His as possible.
Christians are sounding more and more like Islamic fanatics of late.
Pray for your president. Pray that the Lord God speaks to his heart and mind. Many believe that this president is a blessing. I can tell you that I would be very worried if McCain was in office with Palin. They are not who I would want in a difficult position. McCain's temper is too volatile and Palin is an embarrassment at best!
God places people in positions of authority do we not remember what Paul said:
Romans 13:1
[ Submission to the Authorities ] Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

So stop the ugliness and evil in your hearts and get on your knees. God is still in complete control! Pray, Pray, Pray.

Amen and Amen! Well said!! I said the same things before Obama was elected, and warned. I am warning people now of his plans and telling what he has done already. It makes me sad that a lot of professing Christians have rebuked me for not supporting this president. I agree- I will pray for him to find the Truth through Jesus Christ- but I WILL NOT support this man as he continues to impliment every thing that is against the Lord. I agree with your article and no, I didn't vote for Mr. Obama. I've learned at an early age not to trust in the flesh or the promises flesh makes. Only God knows the motives, but He did say we can know a person by their fruit. With all the emphasis on "peace and safety" and "let us build a tower that reaches heaven" are only preludes to sudden destruction. All we can do is endure till the end and proclaim the truth of God until He raptures His Church. I wrote this poem months before the election and sent it to my family and close friends. Unfortunately, the majority of them voted for Mr. Obama and were proud after doing so. I pray that those who read it are encouraged to continue holding on to Christ's garment while longing for His appearing.
