Obama is a secret Muslim
Posted On: 03/23/10 05:20:49 PM Age 43, VA
I know this is an old article but I still feel I must comment on this as an American Muslim convert I don't really find this article to be very offensive just very ignorant.Where do I even begin? First of all Islam is a semetic religion.Muslims,Jews and Christians all worship the same God.We all follow the same prophets Adam,Abraham,Moses,Jesus. So the call to prayer saying "god is supreme" should not be a problem. We are still talking about the God of ABRAHAM.And also "God is Supreme" is kind of a strange translation but not entirely wrong.Obama may have studied the Quran? So What? Do you speak Arabic? Do you have any idea what the Quran says beyond what the other non Arabic speaking person told you it said because he read an English translation. He may have attended an Islamic school? So what? What is the problem? Should I go to my local Islamic school and tell all the 2nd graders that they are not as good as everyone else and that they can never be president? It is very clear to me after reading this and Listening to your radio show you know nothing about Islam.Honor killings,Terrorism, sexism, suicide bombings. All of these things you claim are a part of Islam are actually not. There are 1.8 Billion Muslims in the world how many of them are terrorist? Let me ask you a question if christianity is so great and Islam is so bad Why are you and your right wing bible thumpers constantly lying about Islam? You say the Quran says "kill the infidel" No it does not! "infidel" is not even an Arabic phrase it is a Phrase that came from the catholic church. You use the word "JIHAD" alot and you have no idea what the word means. And then your listeners call in and they are just as lost as you are when it comes to Islam. Why dont you bring a Muslim on your show and make these ridiculous statements in front of him and then let your callers speak with him so that Islam can be fairly represented on your show.I challenge you to stop talking and actually visit a mosque and speak with a Muslim allow your listners to hear what Islam is really all about. If you are really what you say you are if you are a women of god stop lying about my religion to your listeners. You would be very surprised if you would take the time to actually learn the basics of this religion.

OBAMA IS NOT THE JUDGE
Posted On: 10/26/08 09:33:10 AM Age 65, OH
Please show me one place where Obama testifies to The Truth about The Lord Jesus. To call Jesus anything but God Almighty is not The Truth. I have heard Obama say, with my own ears, that sin is when he does not live up to his own standard. That is making himself god. Jesus Christ is The One who decides on what is sin and what is not. Jesus is The Judge. Lou

TO DUMB

Well, Dumb, I will have to admit that I find it hard to disagree with the way you signed your post. Jesus brought no violence to he world, but He preached to love our brother. The problem is not God, but false gods. Who has brought more violence to this world than the antichristian Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao. These were all atheists. Lou

OBAMA IS A TRAITOR TO OUR NATION
Posted On: 10/26/08 09:18:20 AM Age 65, OH
Obama says he is a Christian. Yet when he went to Kenya on taxpayer money, for the third time, he did not support the Christian candidates. Obama campaigned for the Muslim supported candidates. When these men lost the election, their supporters went around burning the Christian churches, with the people still in them. Obama did bring change to Kenya, but not the kind of change that any peace loving person would want. Obama is a tribal elder of a tribe that is Muslim. Obama is also a citizen of Kenya. How can any sane person support a man who is a citizen of any nation besides the US. Will Obama support the US or Kenya. Obama showed who he would support, when he returned from Kenya. In the middle of a financial crisis, Obama supported the largest tax ever put on the US citizens from the UN. This tax is 1st illegal, because we would be taxed by a foreign power. 2nd this tax would go to mainly Africa and Kenya is in Africa. It seems to me that Obama chooses to support Kenya OVER the US, just as the church he belonged to for over 20 years states in their doctrine. I am against Obama because he is a traitor to the US, not because of the color of his skin. Lou

PREJUDICE IS UGLY NO MATTER WHO PRACTICES IT
Posted On: 10/26/08 09:03:20 AM Age 65, OH
Anyone who would bother to read the doctrine of the church that Obama attended for over 20 years can see how prejudiced this church is. They are Black Supremacist. That is racism and is just as bad as the KKK. I would have loved to see a president of the US who happened to be black. But not a man like Obama. I do not vote against him because of his skin color, but because of the people who he has hung around with and the people who have supported him. Lou

sorry to say

I would just like to say it's a little weird that an "atheist" is commenting on a "christian" site. I believe you meant to say you were "agnostic". Since atheism is having all knowledge about everything you must mean agnostic. It is impossible to know everything therefor cannot be true. And let's just say you were all knowing, why would you comment on such a simple subject for you because you would already have the knowledge to you were 100% without out a doubt correct.

I've never read such a condescending response to a thoughtful post in my time on this website. I would challenge you to wake up and see why so many former republicans and christians are coming to a similar conclusion, irregardless of race. Are we all evil? Have we all been blinded by Satan? Do we just disagree on what the best course is for our country (determining that the past 8 years have maybe been the worst in USA history). I also pray that your eyes will be opened and that you will see the falacy of equating John McCain with the "official Christian position."

Wrong.

It's completely false that "the vast majority of the time Obama voted in the Senate, he voted 'Present'." He did so 129 times out of approximately 4000 votes. That's about 3% - so, 97% of the time, he did indeed vote Yes or No. His usage of the 'Present' option was less than the average for legislators in the Illinois Senate. So your entire second point about Obama collapses. By the way - how did you get the impression that "the vast majority" of his votes were 'Present'? Just curious...

My Sympathies
Posted On: 10/23/08 07:22:41 PM Age 48, VA
My sincerest sympathies for you and your family. Although God has granted you the gift of sight, you have chosen to wear skin-color blinders. I understand your wanting to provide successful black people as examples for your children, but there are certainly better examples than a socialist that wants to tear down many of the judeo-christian values that this country was built on. As for qualifications: Governor Palin brings with her a wide variety of government experience, including being at the apex of an Entire Goverment. Senator Obama, on the other hand, has less than 6 momths of actual experience in the Senate since he has spent the vast majority of his senatorial time on the road campaigning rather than representing the voters who sent him to Washington. During the brief times he has actually been present in the Senate, he has rarely taken a stand on any issue that came up for vote: instead he almost always chose to vote Present which is a lame way of saying, 'I was here, but I was afraid to take a stand'. In Revelations 4:15-16, God denounces the church of the Laodiceans because "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth". (KJV) The Laodiceans would have been better in God's eyes to stand for something--even if it was wrong--then to stand for nothing. And that is what a vote of Present is akin to. I agree, you do not need any responses that are full of invecture because you are already overflowing with it. I pray that God will heal your heart and free you of the slavish bonds of hatred; as long as negative emotions prevail in your life, you are at risk of being enslaved by Satan. (I know from personal experience. God can turn you around, but only IF you will let Him.)
