Potential Law Suit

"I saw your bumper sticker, NATIONAL ATHEIST DAY APRIL 1ST on a car here in San Antonio. I asked the owner if he really believed in the sticker, and he said 'yes.' I told him that I am an atheist, and have been one all my life. He said he would never vote for an atheist for any office, nor trust any atheist. Now, I would like your ministry to give me a good reason for me not filing a lawsuit against you for telling people lies. I am not a fool." -- Patrick Greene

Thank you for your email. Here's how I would build my defense:

First, I would say that I can prove that anyone who looks at a building and says that he doesn't believe that there was a builder, is a fool. This is because a building is absolute proof that there was a builder. Buildings don't build themselves, from nothing. Only a fool would believe that.

Second, I would say that anyone who looks at a painting and believes that there was no painter, is a fool. The painting is absolute proof that there as a painter. Paintings don't paint themselves, from nothing. Only a fool would believe that.

Then I would say that creation is absolute 100% scientific proof that there is a Creator. A creation cannot create itself, from nothing. But that's what the atheist believes--that nothing created everything from nothing. That's a scientific impossibility, and only a fool would believe that.

I freely admit that I am the creator of the bumper sticker. But be warned, at the last minute I may say that the bumper sticker created itself, from nothing . . . and appropriately plead insanity.

I await your reply

Imagine the Lawsuit if Ray Did

Respectfully, I didn't say it is the prosperity preachers who fund him. But Ray gets his support and approval to be on TBN and it cannot be cheap from somewhere and TBN would most likely pull him in a heart beat and probably denounce and sue him as well if he began to expose as false teachers the likes of Benny Hin, Kenneth Copeland, Paula White, Creflo Dollar, T.D. Jakes, Robert Schuller, Jesse Duplantis, John Hagee, Father Michael Manning. The issue of false teachers is much deeper than prosperity it is a wicked cursed repentantless false gospel where doctrine, the things God Himself teaches us in Scripture and obedience to God and His Word don't matter. People need to be warned of such false teachers for everything out there claiming to be Christian isn't and being on a network famous for such wolves in sheep's clothing and appearing at a conference where people are giving 'touching stones' that need to be ignited with a credit card offering of the same amount as your house payment or a minimum of $500 doesn't do much to turn people from lies to the truth.

Not that Ray needs me to defend him, but please do some research. It's a pretty sad attempt to discredit Ray by stating that he doesn't go after the prosperity teachers because they fund his ministry. I'm genuinely staggered by your reply. Everyone has a right to their opinion and I appreciate your perspective, but please pick something more substantial to attack if you MUST attack Ray. No matter what he does, he will be attacked, by believers and unbelievers alike, but my opinion is that he is a man who is hungry for the things of God and just wants to provide tools for others to get out and share the Gospel with everyone. His ministry has had a huge impact on my life and I hope many others as well.

You have missed the whole point dear friend. There has to be a source if something has a beginning. Mindless matter can not create itself. There has to be a Creator. This Creator has to be super intelligent. It is the fact that science has proved there is a beginning, as the Bible says even though written 3500 years ago, that many atheists and agnostics have been honest and admitted there has to be an intelligent Creator. Anthony Flew the champion of the atheist has even come to this conclusion. How did that Creator get here is a matter of even deeper understanding than we can ever have. We all have our being in space-time and can not even think about something outside of space-time. But the Creator of all is outside of space-time. The first four words of the Bible are revealing here; IN THE BEGINNING GOD. God was here in the beginning and existed outside of space-time. Quite a advanced abstract concept for a ordinary man named Moses to think of by himself; don't you think. Maybe Moses had help from a being who lived outside of space-time. Lou

This is living proof=that every moron in the world has a right to petition the court--and tie it up with foolishness. Have you heard about this case? Great answer-from the judge! In Florida , an atheist became incensed over the preparation of Easter and Passover holidays. He decided to contact his lawyer about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all their holidays while atheists had no holiday to celebrate. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the long passionate presentation by the lawyer, the Judge banged his gavel and declared, 'Case dismissed!' The lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, 'Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah...yet my client and all other atheists have no Such holiday!' The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, 'Obviously Your client is too confused to even know about, much less celebrate his Own atheists' holiday!' The lawyer pompously said, 'Your Honor, we are unaware of any such holiday for atheists. Just when might that holiday be, your Honor?' The judge said, 'Well it comes every year on exactly the same date---April 1st! Since our calendar sets April 1st as 'April Fools Day,' consider that Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, in my opinion, if your client says there is no God, then by scripture, he is a fool, and April 1st is his holiday! Now have a good day and get out of my courtroom!! Way to go, Judge! AMEN

Ah yes, but who created the bumper stickers creator, or is that a logical fallicy, because by nature the bumper sticker creator does not need one?

Who Does Greater Harm to People?

Brother Ray, Apparently you have no problem exposing atheism as false. So why wouldn't you expose the false Word of Faith prosperity preaches as wicked false in their exploitation of people? Could it be atheists aren't contributing to your ministry but you are tied in with the money it takes to be on television and with those who run TBN and if you exposed them they would uninvite you from speaking on their TV network and at their conferences?
