GOD CREATED SEX (PG 14, MEN ONLY)

God Created Sex (PG 14, Men Only)

How about some honesty from those of you who are you male unbelievers. You are infatuated with the female form. There is red blood in your veins, and all this talk of evolution, the so-called "mistakes" in the Bible, and "no evidence" for the existence of God is just an excuse to indulge in guilt-free lust and illicit sex. Maybe you won't admit it, but one of your hero's does. Aldous Huxley, the grandson of Charles Darwin's 'bulldog' Thomas Huxley, said candidly of his atheism, "For myself, as, no doubt, for most of my contemporaries, the philosophy of meaningless was essentially an instrument of liberation. The liberation we desired was simultaneously liberation from a certain political and economic system and liberation from a certain system of morality. We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freedom; we objected to the political and economic system because it was unjust. The supporters of these systems claimed that in some way they embodied the meaning (a Christian meaning, they insisted) of the world. There was one admirably simple method of confuting these people and at the same time justifying ourselves in our political and erotical revolt: we could deny that the world had any meaning whatsoever."

Not that I need say this, but give sex some thought for a moment. When it comes to male and female, everything is designed to fit. Design doesn't happen by accident. God is the designer of the female form, and contrary to what some weird religions will tell you, sex is for procreation and pleasure. The Bible says to "let your wife's breasts satisfy you at all times," and to be "ravished" with her love (see Proverbs 5:19).

Here's something in this regard that you may not have considered. If everyone obeys traffic laws, we have relatively safe roads. If we don't obey the laws because we get pleasure out of speeding, we will more than likely end up being prosecuted by the law.

Here's the rule when it comes to sex: If you don't confine it to the bounds of marriage, you will probably end up with genital herpes or something worse. At present 50-60% of married couples in America admit to adultery, and premarital sex is practiced by more than 75% of women, and more than 80% of men by the age of 19. The result? More than 45 million people are infected with the virus that causes genital herpes. One in four US teenagers has a sexually transmitted disease.

But there are far more serious repercussions for volition of this rule. The Scriptures warn that fornicators (those who have sex outside of marriage), adulterers (and we know that God considers lust to be adultery) will be prosecuted to the full extent of the Law. They will end up in Hell.

The tragedy is that we can enjoy sex simply by getting married. The Bible addresses this by telling Christians, that are burning with sexual desire, to get married: "But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn" (1 Corinthians 7:9). So, repent of your love of unclean sexual thoughts, and ask God to forgive you for this and all other sin. Put your trust in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation, and then pray earnestly that God gives you a godly wife. Get married; then love, honor, and respect her with all of your heart, and she will reward you.

Yes, you are in a difficult predicament. However, sin is sin, and you still need to avoid premarital sex simply because it is sin (God's rule, not mine). It is also important to avoid situations that make you consider having premarital sex. On a different note, however, speaking from experience I can clearly say that it is easier to be celibate and not married than to be married and desperately desire sex but to be rejected by your otherwise Godly spouse. Now that is frustrating beyond description.

That still is no excuse for doing something wrong. :)

"The tragedy is that we can enjoy sex simply by getting married." It is simple for those who are already married to give advice such as "simply get married." For those of us who have been waiting & praying for a Godly spouse that is right for us, year after year, while watching very young cousins and even children we used to *babysit* get married before us, it is not so simple. It is completely heartbreaking, and we resort to having premarital sex to fill the void for even a little while. It happens time and time again - the born-again single Christians I am interested in reject me.....however, unsaved Catholics seem to be everywhere, offering me relationships and sex. And yet, I should "simply get married" to solve the problem. Gee, why didn't I think of that?

Amen!!!

This article is completely true, and the importance of the issues addressed cannot be overstated. I believe parents in this generation have a huge responsibility to teach their children about sex from a biblical perspective from the very start, not waiting until they think their children are old enough to handle it. We should never ignore our children's questions but instead give them immediate, age-appropriate answers in the context of a trusting parent-child relationship. It is my prayer that I will be able to do just that. Thank you, Ray, for your insights.

good point, but.......

This is an excellent article, and it is 100% completely correct. However, the other factor is that once you are married, it is also important for your wife to allow you to be "satisfied with her breasts" at least once in a while. If this is not allowed, the frustration can be devastating while striving to remain pure.

church needs to help address issues with parents and child

Excellent and timely article in view of teen epidemic std's.My question is why hasnt the church at large aggressively taught this to church attenders and youth and also include a program for parents on how to teach their child to abstain ,and Gods view on love ,sex and marriage."Marriage without regrets for teen" is an excellent bible study(K.Arthur) and i am sure there are others.Role play ,role play with your pre-teen and teen befor they are hit with it all in school. The parent will and should decide age appropiateness. Fight for op-in sex ed classes instead of op-out where the child is ridiculed.
