Obama or Clinton = Socialist Tyranny
The insipid desire for bigger government amongst liberals just never ends. What a disappointing choice we have as conservatives. We can vote for John (open borders, amnesty, work with Ted Kennedy) McCain or we can vote for tyrant #1) Barack (government will be your momma) Obama, or tyrant #2) Hillary (crying to show I am not lying) Clinton.
Let's take a moment to talk about McCain. It is clear that McCain is not a true conservative. With that said it is also clear that he is far better than the Democrats. He has an 82.5% rating as a conservative, compared to Obama who is rated the most liberal Senator in the Senate and Hillary Clinton who is rated the eleventh most liberal (source American conservative union, www.votefromabroad.org).
Please do not misunderstand this as an endorsement for McCain. I don't like him as a senator at all nor would I endorse him for president. To me he is another traitor to conservative values. John McCain is on the other hand a great American hero. I have a tremendous amount of respect for those who serve in defense of our country. McCain has my respect and in that regard I find him to be an honorable man.
That being said, it does not automatically mean that he should be the leader of our nation or the Republican Party. He should not be. There were a few very good conservatives in the primary process that just did not take hold and that is sad. Since he will be the Republican nominee some conservatives will take the lesser of the two evils. Other conservatives will simply not vote for him due to personal conviction that enough is enough with the Republican shift to the left. That position is a reasonable one and I respect it. I will most likely vote for him because the thought of Obama or Clinton as President is enough to make me violently ill. I will however have to hold my nose while voting for him.
Now to the main topic of this article; "Tyrant # 1 or Tyrant # 2?" If Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama become the next President you can be assured that socialist tyranny will continue to grow at a faster rate. From Hillary Clinton's proclamation that she will "take money" from big corporations, to Barack Obama's speeches about the evils of "tax cuts for the rich", they're coming to take more power away from the private sector. Both Clinton and Obama are Socialists who do not hesitate to use class warfare. Hillary Clinton's health care takeover is a nightmare. Barack Obama has the same tired socialist mind set. It is a welfare state that they dream of. There possibly is no greater misnomer then that of welfare. The name speaks an advantageous dynamic and yet it has led to the destruction of purpose, self respect, and ambition. Welfare has done more to destroy the long term optimism and incentive of poor people than any private sector free economy could. They both want womb to the tomb big government non-sense (this, of course, unless a woman wants to murder the baby in her womb). Take Obama's idea of education. The following if from his web site;
"Obama's comprehensive "Zero to Five" plan will provide critical support to young children and their parents. Unlike other early childhood education plans, Obama's plan places key emphasis at early care and education for infants, which is essential for children to be ready to enter kindergarten. Obama will create Early Learning Challenge Grants to promote state "zero to five" efforts and help states move toward voluntary, universal pre-school"
"Education for infants"? Yeah that's what we need…more government intervention and indoctrination of our children from infancy on. "Voluntary"? At first maybe, but it will become mandatory. Not only is this idea stupid since it takes young children away from their parents, there is absolutely no constitutional authority for the federal government to do this! This idea is nothing more than a further increase in centralized government control that attempts to replace parental authority and influence with government liberal propaganda. Both Clinton and Obama are pro abortion. Obama would want "education for the pre born" if he did not believe in the right to murder them.
Why do these people continue to believe that more government intervention is better, when the facts scream out concerning the government's dismal results in education? Look at any inner city school that is run by liberals and you will see failure! They say "we need more money." No matter how much money they get they fail. It is simple; they do not care about the results. They only care about more centralized power and feeding the insatiable liberal machine. Any regular common sense person would know that if you do the same things and nothing improves you may want to change what you are doing. Well Clinton and Obamma are either stupid, (and I know that is not the case) or they simply do not care about Socialism's failure as a whole, and specifically the increased failure of public education since the federal government sunk its teeth into it. Some of you are now going to bring up the "no child left behind" legislation pushed by President George Bush. You are going to say something like "Your Republican President pushed for more federal involvement". Well I was against it and if you wish to know how I feel about President Bush you may read my article titled "Its Official, President Bush Has lost His Mind" at the following link;
Liberals are constantly pushing for more government control no matter what the result is. I am so tired of the same old arguments against the ones who invest and produce opportunities for jobs. The productive are always the target of liberalism.
Are you mad at oil companies? Why don't you get mad at our government, that taxes you on gas and makes more money from it than the oil companies do?
Are you upset at jobs leaving? Why don't you get angry at our government that continually sells us out with trade agreements that favor other countries?
Mad at companies that have the choice of going out of business or taking their manufacturing jobs to other countries? Why get mad at the companies that have no choice but to go to other countries for workers? For some companies there is no choice due to the insane & costly 60,000 page tax code, and other regulations that make it impossible for some companies to do business here. Are there bad companies? Sure there are but the idea that all companies want to move somewhere else is not true.
I am sure that some will say "You Republicans were also involved in these taxes and trade agreements". Well that is why I describe myself as a conservative. I do not carry the water for the Republican Party. The truth is that there are many conservatives in the Republican Party and very few in the Democratic Party. If the Republican Party continues to leave us, we will eventually have a viable third party. (I know, I know, I know; Libertarian party, Constitutional Party etc.) I truly believe that if McCain is elected and then throws us conservatives under a bus as President Bush has, that will be the end of the Republican Party. Conservatives will leave.
Obama is a slick talker; he carries himself well, and has a youthful vigor that comes through in his public appearances. Under all this is an old fashioned socialist. Clinton plays the victim to get sympathy votes from women. She is a shrewd politician with a strong political machine. Under all this is also an old fashioned socialist. Both of them have married old fashioned socialism with modern liberal social policy. In their worldview they see the union of socialism with a distain for all traditional values. They want a redefinition of marriage. Marriage is the institution most responsible for the prosperity of life. Stability, finance, and societal health are dependent upon the covenant of the union of one man and one woman. This is the primary relationship that brings the proper example to the rearing of children. No other method can bring the same results. The destruction of the sacred relationship between a man and woman will bring a negative affect beyond description to our beloved country. The increase in divorce has already proved to be caustic to the social wellbeing of society. The more divorce there is, the more dysfunctional the children will be in their relationships in adulthood. Any other form may never replace the power of the family. The government only plays the role of destroyer when it replaces the responsibility of the man to protect, and provide for his family. The more the government applies itself as father, the more fatherless children there are. The results of such thinking should be apparent to all who open their eyes to our modern culture.
To those of you who are enamored with Obama. Do you really want more government, more taxes, more of the same public education nightmare? Do you really know what you are voting for? Can you name any major accomplishment of Barack Hussein Obama?
To those of you who want Clinton. Do you really want more Clinton scandals, more missing F.B.I. files, China funding her campaign, and her desire to hijack healthcare under government control? Can you name one accomplishment of Hillary Rodham Clinton?
It is simple. Vote for Obama or Clinton and you get;
1) More dead babies.
2) More government.
3) More corruption.
4) More taxes.
5) Worse Education.
6) Worse social condition.
7) Further breakdown of the family.
8) Less personal responsibility.
9) More globalism.
10) More tyranny.
11) Takeover of parental authority
12) Regulation of speech (hate speech legislation)
13) More attacks on the second amendment.
I will never vote for Obama, Clinton, or any socialist under any circumstances.

COMPROMISE as you will...

Indeed any self-proclaiming Christian who votes for John McCain is self-delusional and a Republican ideologue...not to mention they will compromise their spiritual beliefs by supporting a secularist womanizer, foul-mouth, globalist. But if that's where you are, then answer to God for your personal apostasy because the Word tells true believers to "come out from amongst them". We can certainly do all we can as spiritual influencers but we should not be compelled to vote for their evils ways.

As one who knows Tom Tancredo personally and who supported his efforts see my web site; (www.wakeupandsmellthetruth.com) picture of Tancredo and me. I would have loved to see him as President. I understand your position and I respect it. I am hanging on to the Republican party by a thread my friend. I feel the same way as you. I will most likely vote for McCain since there is no viable third party. However, I will most certainly leave the Republican party if there is not a drastic change in the direction. Again, I hear you and agree with you and yet I feel we must stop Hillary and Obama from capturing the White house. Good conservatives can disagree on some things. Some are saying now is the time to leave the Republican party, and some are saying to hang in there a bit longer. I am the latter but very close to leaving it.

In need of a disaster

God has given America several wake up disaster calls, most recent of which might be the World Trade Center disaster. Apparently these wake up calls haven't had much affect, probably because those calls haven't affected all of us. However, there is a wake up call on the way in the form of a major economic collapse. Maybe that will wake us up. George Cancilla

The Ugly American...

You have touched on the reason other nations have refered to American diplomats as "ugly Americans". After WW2 American diplomats and big business evangelists went throughout the world "selling" American so-called democracy as the way the world should/must follow. Obviously this has returned to haunt our nation because now the world hates us and our greed. The so-called democracy in American politics has now drifted to the left and global socialism in both primary political parties. It is self-destructive. America is NOT a democracy either as it was founded as The United States of America Republic.
It is only when real conservatives and real Christians "exodus" from the Democrat and Republican parties to form "a more better way" that this nation will turn around. Re need a National Reformation in our politics. We must eradicate our Nation's capital of self-serving politicians and create a way to remove them from office by having them sign a contract that they will NOT be persuaded by special interest groups (SIGs), pork barrel politics, entitlements, bridges to nowhere, outlaw lobbyists, et al; and when they fail then they are immediately pulled from office and replaced. We need another check and balance in the form of addtional bona fide parties in the U.S. House and Senate to override political insanity.
It is time those in church leadership realize this and stop encouraging their "flock" to support apostate and evil politicians in the GOP as McCain (a womanizing, foul mouth, non-hero, self-serving weasel), Mike Huckabee (apostate to Biblical Christianity socialist), and Mitt Romney (Biblically apostate cultist, and elitist). It is time Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo join together as an independent President/VP team to speak for real conservatives who love our once-great nation. What say you?

...and McCain=Neocon Fascist Tyranny

This country can't afford Clinton, Obama, or McCain to be elected. Christians and Conservatives need to get behind a candidate who stands for Christian and conservative principles. That candidate is Congressman Ron Paul. I believe that Christians and Conservatives need to ask Dr. Paul to run as a 3rd party candidate, whether that be Libertarian, or Constitution Party. If he does decide to not run as a 3rd party candidate, then I believe we need to get behind the Constitution Party candidate. Possible candidates are former Alabama Justice Roy Moore, Chuck Baldwin (a Pastor and contributing columnist for Christian Worldview Network), Alan Keyes, former Senator Bob Smith, and Dr. Jerome Corsi, just to name a few. Come on Christians and Conservatives, please wake up, and vote for a true conservative candidate and not fall to the lie that we need to vote for the lesser of two evils. In God We Trust, not in the GOP we trust.

Socialism has crept into the Republican Party too!

Looking at your list of socialist ideals are easily applied also to John McCain and Mike Huckabee. To not understand this one must be a party idealogue or in self-denial.

I agree with the words about those who have called themselves conservatives and have behaved in some ways worse than the left has. I have made my position on this known many times. We are in a very bad situation as a nation. Perhaps it will take a total disaster to finally turn us back to our founding principles. Perhaps we will never turn back as a nation. Either way our help as Christians is in the Name of the Lord.
