THE LYNCHING DATE IS SET

The Lynching Date is Set

By Jan Markell

So it is settled and the date is November 27.  The date of Israel's lynching while all the world cheers.  The much-heralded Middle East summit at Annapolis which has stalled a dozen times is now going to happen it would appear.

So, name one concession Israel has made in recent years that has been reciprocated by its sworn enemies. This is not a trick question. There are none.

That's why this month's announced "Middle East Summit" in Annapolis, Md., should be viewed as one more installment payment in the sellout of Israel and of American interests in the Middle East. While the United States continues to struggle to shore up democracy in Iraq, the Bush administration - like administrations before it - proceeds in undermining the likelihood that the region's first democracy will endure.

At every negotiating session, Israel is pressured into making concessions for "peace" and receives more war in response. Mostly this is because of the wishful thinking in the West that has replaced sound policy. Why should the Palestinians make concessions when they are drawing closer to their objective of eradicating Israel by throwing stones and bombs and stonewalling negotiations? Little wonder that one writer calls the event "hopeful insanity."

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has no problems with the agenda. In fact, he set much of the agenda.  He proposes that Israel put everything on the table including sovereignty over the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism. "All of the historical questions that overshadow the argument between us and the Palestinians are on the agenda. We will not evade any one of them," Olmert recently explained.  Even parts of Jerusalem are up for sale. Judea and Samaria will be shredded.

Does anyone remember all the previous efforts, just a few listed here: Madrid, Oslo I and II, Wye, Tennet, Mitchell, and Saudi "agreements?"  As Joseph Farah says, "That's essentially what the 'peace process' is all about: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

What a strange time for Israel to roll over in front of her enemies. Iran is threatening to wipe her out. Hezbollah and Syria are arming for her destruction as well.  Fatah and Hamas are warring, causing instability, and both continue to rail at the existence of Israel even as Fatah's Abbas plans for Annapolis.

I echo the words of Jim Hutchins who heads the ministry "The Jerusalem Connection." He states, "There is a special judgment of God reserved for those nations who 'divided up my land.' Regardless of the good intentions of the Bush administration in convening the Annapolis summit, our nation stands in peril if we impose any 'land for peace' solutions on Israel, including a division of Jerusalem. Let it not be said that we did nothing. Now is the time for all who love Israel and the covenant promises God has made, to let there voice be heard. 'For Zion's sake we will not keep silent.' " (Isaiah 62)

Take the words of Joel 3:2 seriously, please. There God says, "I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land."

Yet, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps (Ps. 121:4).

Were the upcoming conference the only signficant item on the geo-political landscape I'd be concerned. But the fact that it's wedged amidst and alongside other significant items related to the defacing of God's people and purposes - is beyond concerning. To think that Abraham's own Hebron is a bartering chit is unimaginable. Were we to poke the Creator directly in the eye the consequences couldn't be more predictable. These are momentous days and times; truly a season that calls for vigilant watching. May God bless and bring peace to Jerusalem!

As you know their are among Christians different opinions in as to whether (natural) Israel will play a major roll in the near future as part of Gods eternal destinations, or not. I personally believe the existence of (natural) Israel is of no importance at all. Other Christians differ with me on that opinion. Well, I say, that fine! However, I strongly object that I (and other agreeing with me) are called ANTI-ISRAEL en ANTISEMITEC!!!! Now that's both a LIE and PROPAGANDA! Now please, get real! Develop you own, mature opinions, and don't copy some Darbyist, narrow minded (a pleonasm!) doctrines which teach you, you may condemn your fellow Christians and label them as antisemitic and anti-Israel and, doing so, are cut off the vine!

My point exactly. There is not a single book or verse where the will of the people is ever spoken of favorably.

Showering Isreal with wonder weapons and giving them the go ahead to kill "Those evil Muslims" is not helping Isreal. Nor is commanding them to re take the promised land before its time. It is not Christian to tell the Isrealis that they are Gods people and that no matter how disobedient they are, God will grant them victory. Quite to the contrary, this is the very word of the false prohpets! Not once! Any time or anywhere, has a singe one of these neocon Christins ever advised Isreal to seek the Lords advice! Not once! All they do is claim that they are Gods chosen people and therfore can do no wrong, that we are to shower them with our wonder weapons and allow them to kill those evil Arabs. False teaching!

The final victory will be Christ himself stiking down the nations and ruling with a rod of Iron. Not the seculalr socialist state we now call Isreal with American made wonder weapons.

Since when do neocon christians who advocate bombing the world into submission to their gospel of permissivenss ever advocated Gentle reproach? You preachers of this gospel of bombs & bullets are in no position to complain about being attacked.

To expose false teaching is not a stumbling bock. There is no Gospel of Bobs & bullets. Anyone who teaches that there is is a false teacher.

Call it an attack or whatever you want but I challenge you. Where does Christ call for us to build a massive military machine using money we don't really have and to bomb the world into submission? Where in the Bible is "Democracy" AKA the institution of our persissive society ever spoken of favorably much less called for? Open your Bible and show me!

So your way is to talk about "Us good Christians" Vs "Those evil Muslims" and how Christ commands us to bomb them into our persmissivness thinly disguised as grace? Or those "Good Isrealis" who need our wonder weapons to kill those evil Muslims? Who here is the stumbling block?

First, it should not be possible to terrorise a Christian wih physical violence so anybody who cries out like thgis has a weak faith at best or a false one at worst. Second, the nation we know as Isreal today is not the Isreal of the Bible. It is a secular godless socialist state where 2/3 of the people consider themselves Jews by birth and not by faith. Third, This secualr socialist state was founded by the same terrorism they now claim to be a victim of. Conclusion: If you believe the Biblical Prohpecy of a re instituted nation of Isreal, then this same Prophecy also declares that this nation is in for soe rough times to say it mildly. God will deal with his people and what he has in store for them is not for Isreal to continue in thier current disobedient ways protected by all of the wonder weapons we can give them.
