Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse
Brannon's guest is Tim Wildmon, President of the American Family Association. Topic One: Glenn Beck tells Bill O'Reilly that he is not very concerned about same-sex marriage. Beck even seems to mock those who are concerned when he says "Will the gays come and get us?" Why is Beck saying these things and why should he care? Topic Two: What other conservatives are seemingly becoming tolerant of homosexuality? Topic Three: Proposition 8 in California is overturned by one judge. What does this say about America and how we are being governed? Does the U.S. Constitution provide for a way to deal with rouge judges? When republicans had both house of Congress, why did they not seek to impeach judges for bad and unconstitutional behavior? Topic Four: Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention declares in USA Today that mosque opponents are misguided. Land goes on to imply that by limiting mosques we are setting up for the government to limit other religions. Is this a straw man argument? Should the government shut down mosques that train Islamic Jihadists? Topic Five: It is the end of the world as we know it. Christopher Rudy of Newsmax spent almost the entire Clinton Administration writing books and giving interviews on the suspicious death of Vince Foster and the Clinton's reported corruption. Rudy was in many respects one of the most aggressive opponents of Bill Clinton. However, now Rudy is posing for pictures with Bill Clinton, calling him friend and sharing Clinton's passion for the causes supported by the Clinton Foundation. Why would Ruddy be doing this? Do conservatives in America see the handwriting on the wall and thus are positioning themselves for the future?

Colonel Donald Thompson, M.D. is the Christian Medical Association Director of Global Health Outreach.
Since 1996 Department of Defense personnel have been prohibited from performing abortions except in cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother.
A new legislative push in favor of abortions is on the move in the form of the Burris amendment, an amendment that is part of the Defense Authorization Act. This amendment would allow abortions to take place on both domestic and overseas military bases.
In response, the Christian Medical Association drafted a letter and sent it to senators encouraging them to vote “no” on the Defense Authorization Act. You can do the same by contacting your legislators at the numbers listed below.

Understanding The Times with Jan Markell
Dr. Cal Beisner and Jan consider the agenda of the environmental movement. This movement targeted conservative and evangelical churches 15 years ago and now we see that playing out. Beisner answers the question about what has happened to the oil in the Gulf? Beisner's organization has started a program called Resisting the Green Dragon which cautions churches about the environmentalism agenda coming to their way. Why have evangelicals fallen for this?

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
Love puts stars in the eyes of young couples. Often they overlook faults in each other that later prove stressful. The desire for marriage prevents some people from being realistic. Mr. Perfect turns out to be less so, and Miss Wonderful is found to have some less wonderful moments. Today we look at a few more character issues to look out for before tying the knot.

Understanding The Times with Jan Markell
Jan's three guests, including singer and song writer Marty Goetz, say that the church today does not appreciate their Jewish roots. God's story has a DNA to it, and it starts with the story of Abraham and from Abraham's seed comes the Messiah/Savior. They have produced an outstanding new DVD, "Israel: The Missing Piece: The Hebraic Foundation of Christianity" which can be found at our Web site.

Walid Shoebat is a former PLO Terrorist and the author of several bestselling books including Why I Left Jihad, Why We Want to Kill You, and God’s War on Terror.
Walid is now an American citizen living in the USA with his wife and children under this assumed name. In addition to his lectures at colleges and universities around America, he has spoken all over the nation and the world on various national and international television and radio networks.
Many secular skeptics of Christianity here in America often confuse government acknowledgment of God with government sponsorship of religion. This often results in baseless complaints about separation of church and state. On the other hand, the concept of separation seems to get ignored when these same critics are confronted with proof that some Muslims want to implement aspects of Shariah law.
Why should this be of concern to anyone? In an Arabic interview translated into English by Walid, Imam Fiesal Abdul Rauf, the funder of the controversial Ground-Zero Mosque said:
“…that an Islamic state can be established in more than just a single form or mold; it can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of [Islamic] Shariah that are required to govern. It is known that there are sets of standards that are accepted by [Muslim] scholars to organize the relationships between government and the governed.”
Is it really the desire of some Muslims to take advantage of our freedom of religion and worship in order to build Islamic principles into our society? Decide for yourself as you review this important edition of Crosstalk.
