Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse
Original Air Date was August 24th at 1pm CT: Brannon's guest is Dr. Erwin Lutzer; author and Senior Pastor of Moody Church in Chicago. Topic One: Dr. Lutzer joins Brannon to explain from the Bible why Christians and pastors cannot spiritually unite with Glenn Beck at his "Glenn Beck's Divine Destiny" event at the Kennedy Center on Friday night, August 27th. Dr. Lutzer explains that the only way we can reclaim America is by not compromising on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by making it the first priority as described in I Corinthians 15:2. Dr. Lutzer explains the message that is sent by uniting spiritually with unbelievers, be it by intent or mistake, is saying that all religions are equal or can find common unity in a spiritual enterprise or service is heresy and is compromising the Gospel. Topic Two: The liberal group, People for the American Way, has picked up on Brannon's articles and radio programs disagreeing with members of the evangelical community that are uniting with Glenn Beck for what Glenn calls a spiritual service. It is interesting that even the liberal and unbelieving world is watching to see if we are more committed to obeying and elevating the Gospel of Jesus Christ than we are our own personal goals and objectives no matter how good our intentions. Topic Three: Dr. Lutzer answers the question "what if God has raised up Glenn Beck, should we not unit with him and not object to what he is doing with this spiritual service?" Topic Four: Rev. James Robison joins Glenn Beck on his radio program and says "..when God told you that…the issue was not merely political but it was spiritual, we needed a spiritual awakening, we needed a revival, and you indicated--- actually this very same day you and I talked, you heard from God very directly. And I want to say to you, thank you for really seeking to help wake up a sleeping church that has been manipulated and deceived by the principalities and powers and the realm of darkness that you reference in the Overton Window…" Could it be that Glenn is actually being used by principalities to deceive a sleeping church with the false gospel and false Jesus of Mormonism and through the promotion of pluralism and universalism? Perhaps Robison was not listening but in this interview Beck says to Robison "James, I just want to make this conversation very clear. You and I, we do not agree on theology per se…". How can Robison claim that Glenn can lead a spiritual revival when Beck has not only acknowledged that 80% of his life revolves around the Mormon Temple but has told Robison in this very interview that they do not agree theology? The "want to be cool, popular and mainstream Christianity" of some of these evangelical leaders is leading them to make very unbiblical statements and decisions and compromise the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Topic Five: We take your calls.

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
When you look around, some people seem to have what’s known as “a marriage made in heaven.” Everything’s going great, or is it. When tough times begin, some wonder if their marriage came from somewhere far from heaven. Christians may think they married out of God’s will when the struggles really mount. Today we will learn how God’s will comes into play in our choice of marriage partners.

Understanding The Times with Jan Markell
Brannon Howse sits in for Jan and talks to Usama Dakdok, born in a Christian home in Egypt but highly knowledgeable about Islam. He reveals what he believes Obama's Islamic agenda in the U.S. is, states Obama is a Muslim, sites examples of how and why, chastises the church for cozying up to Islam, chastises pastors for not telling their people the truth about it, and sends out many other warnings. His ministry is also a gospel outreach to Muslims and he encourages Christians to do same.

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
Men are natural providers, women are natural nurturers. Men are known for strength; women for beauty. There are natural differences that set men and women apart to complement each other in a marriage relationship. These differences are built into us, and can be seen in Adam and Eve, the first couple. Today we look at more on clarifying the roles each partner plays in marriage.

Crosstalk
Vic Eliason began this edition of Crosstalk by thanking WDYN radio in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for broadcasting Crosstalk for over 19 years. WDYN has been sold to the Bible Broadcasting Network and therefore Crosstalk will not be heard on that station once the license transfer takes place.
The following is a partial list of thoughts that were brought up by callers:
--Disappointment in Christians that link up with Mormons.
--Are Anne Coulter’s “skeletons” coming out of her closet?
--Homosexual “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy should be repealed.
--Russia will be loading up an Iranian nuclear reactor tomorrow. Will Israel retaliate?
--Glenn Beck’s respect for the Lord Jesus Christ questioned.
--President Obama has allegedly persuaded Israel not to attack Iran for a year or more.
--A caller wanted to see some Crosstalk programming that defines Roman Catholicism.
--Concern over an electromagnetic pulse attack by an aggressor nation.
--Disgust over the halting of the cost-of-living increase for disabled American veterans.

When America Becomes Greece
John Loeffler from Steel on Steel returns to talk about the forthcoming stranglehold the FCC wants to place on the Internet and talk/conservative radio. The FCC has declared themselves the new controller of the Internet now. They also get into economy issues and show how America could become Greece in 1-2 years. And just how stifling is "cap and trade" going to be? How does the oil leak fit into this? Is the church ready to pick up the pieces of America as she is further weakened?

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
While gender activists want to equalize everything between men and women, there are fundamental differences they can’t erase. Fact is, men and women are made differently, and have different roles in a marriage. Today we will sort out those differences, and seeing why those roles complement each other perfectly. This can remove a lot of stress from your marriage.
