Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse
Brannon' guest is Gary Bates. Gary has researched the issue of UFOs and their connection to Darwinian evolution. Because evolution claims the world and universe is billion of years old, many believe that there could thus be life forms on other planets. This evolutionary belief has increased the belief in UFOs and alien life. However, there have been untold numbers of UFO sightings even by commercial pilots and military pilots. Individual have also claimed to have been abducted. Gary makes the case that many of these people are seeing demonic activity and even interacting with fallen angles. Gary gives Scripture to back up these ideas. Why is this topic even important for Christians to consider? We also take your calls.

Crosstalk
Deborah Collins is a mother of two who hosts her own radio program, "Celebrate Women", heard on KWRD in Dallas, Texas.
Brannon opened this broadcast with the story of a 16 year old Dallas, Texas, area girl who had her dentist put “fangs” on her teeth. This is an example of the huge impact that The Twilight Saga series of books and movies is having on children, mothers, Christians and even churches.
The "Twilight Saga" series of books and movies are occult romance stories that attempt to make a distinction between good vampires and bad vampires. This may be because, as Deborah points out, many people today feel powerless.
For the Christian, this is where it’s important to have biblical discernment. An important aspect in this regard is recognition of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
From blood-mimicking soft-drinks to kids biting each other, join Brannon and Deborah as they present the details of this phenomenon and provide the biblical response.

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
Most of us believe what’s in the newspaper. After all, no critical scholars hold seminars to debunk the New York Times. Though they’re slow to attack a venerable newspaper, critics are quick to debunk the Bible. And since the Bible is under perennial attack for its historical accuracy, let’s ask the question: just how reliable is it?

Understanding The Times with Jan Markell
Eric Barger and Jan ask, "When is it time to leave a church?" How long do we stay and fight the things that are wrong? Both ministries are deluged with church-related questions stating church-related dilemmas. There are some basic issues that serve as a guideline for leaving, unless one is persuaded to stay and try to make changes. The likelihood of that is small. So how to exit gracefully and in a Godly manner, without being divisive but telling the truth?

Running to Win with Dr. Erwin Lutzer
To gather evidence, courts take testimony from witnesses. To evaluate the claims of the Bible, let’s put it on the stand. As the cross-examination begins, we find a book that claims to speak for God. In fact, it claims God spoke through its authors. Today more on the claims the Bible makes for itself, and what those claims mean for you and me.

Worldview Matters with Brannon Howse
Two newspapers are reporting this week that central banks are starting to decrease their holdings in American dollars. Why? Brannon re-visits the topic of the Bank for International Settlements and its quest for a new global currency, additional European Union like unions and additional merging of central banks like the European Central Bank. How does all this potentially fit with what we read in Revelation 17? We also take your calls on this topic.

Crosstalk
Brannon Howse opened this edition of Crosstalk with 3 news items:
--Part of the Obama/Pelosi strategy is to pass the union card check during a “lame duck” session after the Fall elections.
--Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York and Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey have reintroduced legislation that would restrict the free speech of pro-life crisis pregnancy centers through advertising regulation.
--Cable news guest says unless the government plunge protection team comes in over the next couple of days, the markets are looking “dicey”.
The main topic dealt with emergent pastor Rob Bell who has been invited by Pastor Bill Hybels to speak at Willow Creek Church July 14th. Brannon details why the emergent church is dangerous and specifically what Bell will be speaking about during his visit.
