Columbus Day – Central Iowa Honor Flight is taking a record 500 WWII Iowa Veterans to Washington, DC to see the WWII Memorial. Bob Davey, WWII Veteran, who travelled on the August Honor Flight will share his thoughts. In Des Moines, IA - please join us along the Honor Flight Route at 4:30 p.m. central to wave a flag and say ‘thanks’ as Casey’s General Stores, the Patriot Riders, and a Des Moines’ finest escort eleven busses taking these heroes to dinner.
