Understanding the Insults of Jesus (Part Two) What did Jesus mean when in Matthew 23:24 He told the Jewish religious leaders of His day that they were blind guides that strain at a gnat but swallow a camel? You might find it interesting to know that many Jews in that day did indeed strain their liquids to make sure they were not consuming a gnat or fly or flea. But why and how does this help us understand the condemnation of these Jewish Pharisees by Jesus? Topic: In Matthew 23:33 Jesus calls the Pharisees snakes and a brood of vipers. What was Jesus really conveying in this condemnation? Topic: In Luke 7:32 Jesus compared the Pharisees to children but he was not doing so a compliment. Topic: John Guandolo checks in with us to share about what happen to him at his event in the Midwest. Topic: We take your calls.

Islam and the rise of anti-semitism Part 3

We are seeing the rise of anti-semitism around the world and in America at levels not seen since 1930 Europe. How can we have not learned our lessons from history? How are we denying history all over again and going down the same road of evil?

What does the Bible have to say about the root of Jewish hatred in Genesis 3:15 & Genesis 16:11-12? What does Islamic text teach about the Jews and how they are to be treated by Muslims? Is Islam and their prophet Muhammad anti-semitic and an anti-Christ spirit?

We will examine all of this and more. We will look at the connection between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Nazis. We will hear from a holocaust survivor who is warning America and the rest of the world about the dangerous rise of anti-semitism, the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanction) movement, and the corrupt United Nations. We will also examine the backstory of the false Muslim claim to the Al Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem. What is the real truth?

The more the church turns it back on Israel and the Jewish people, the more they will embrace and defend Islam and head down the road of deception. The God of the Bible is not neutral or silent on these issues and neither should we be silent or ignorant of these issues. Christians and Jews remain the greatest threat to Satan and his offspring. We must stand with the God of the Bible and the nation of Israel.

(Program #25) Usama Dakdok reveals the dangers of interfaith dialogues by playing the audio of the interfaith dialogue between James White and Jihadi Yasir-Qadhi. Usama will start and stop the audio as he provides commentary and uses this as a opportunity to refute the misinformation with truth.

Today on PTIB Dave Dolan has a Middle East News Update for Jimmy DeYoung that you can listen to as well. Jimmy and Dave will discuss the Israeli Jets, using Lebanese air space to attack a Syrian chemical weapons site, on the Lebanese-Syrian border; Iran bragging that they tricked the world, they can right now, within five days, start making nuclear WMD's, not ten years from now; Russia protecting Iran's weapons factory in Syria; and the IDF holding the most tense military exercises in twenty years, at Israel's northern border with Lebanon.

“I am the Lord, that is My name. My glory I will not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” There is no ambiguity here. It is clear that God will not tolerate the worship of images. But do crosses, crucifixes, or icons violate God’s commandment?

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Trial, has put together the template for a resolution requesting the removal of all Confederate memorials, flags, streets, names and symbols from public spaces and property. Jim believes they're trying to co-opt themselves with the tidal wave of protests that have been generated around America in order to present themselves as being sympathetic to the cause.

Joining Jim to bring clarity to this issue was Usama Dakdok. Usama is the president of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He's speaker of the national radio program, 'Revealing the Truth About Islam' and travels the nation to alert and wake up Americans regarding the true goal of Islam. Usama is Egyptian born, speaks fluent Arabic and has translated the Qur'an into English.

CAIR's executive director said, 'Removal of these memorials would be a small step forward in turning the page on the darkest period in our nation's history.' Why would an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Trial care about the Confederate statues/memorials/monuments debate when they themselves promote slavery?

Usama believes this is part of a multi-step process, where one of the steps would be replacement of things like street names with Muslim names.

After Jim read the resolution template from CAIR, Usama set the record straight regarding the slavery issue. He began by noting that when it comes to slavery there are 3 equal partners: pagan African chiefs, Muslim Arabs and white Europeans. In other words, African chiefs were the ones who sold their own people to the Arab Muslims, who carried them in ships and sold them to white Europeans.

What about those who say you can't point to Islam or Muslims because the Bible itself promotes slavery? Usama noted Exodus 21:16. This verse clearly teaches that anyone who steals a man and sells him shall be put to death.

But what about the portion of Leviticus 25:44-46 where it appears that God is telling Moses to take slaves? God wanted Moses to kill all the people in the inhabited lands because they were wicked, even after God waited patiently for 400 years for them to repent. That takes us to Joshua 9. Some men from Gibeon presented themselves as ambassadors to the Israelites. Through deception, because they knew the Israelites were wiping out the inherited lands, they concocted a plan and because Joshua didn't seek counsel of the Lord, he entered into a peace treaty with them. Eventually Joshua realized he'd been deceived and made them woodcutters and water carriers for God's house. That was the beginning of slavery among the Israelites that God knew ahead of time would happen, therefore there is no contradiction between Exodus 21 and Leviticus 25.

Jim and Usama also looked at 1 Timothy 1:9-11, who it was that took Africans from their East Coast to Islamic nations, the extent of Muslim slavery today, the Qur'an's specific teachings on slavery, and more.

Guest: Robert Spencer & Usama Dakdok. Topic: On September 11, 2017, a big newspaper in Tennessee reports what we have been saying for months about Memphis Imam Yasir Qadhi and his connection to Islamic groups that have ties to Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Sadly, even secular newspapers apparently have more common sense and discernment than so-called pastors, elders, and Christians, that have spent months defending one of their favorite neo-Calvinist heroes that came to Memphis and sat with Yasir Qadhi in an interfaith dialogue. The Tennessee Star Newspaper clearly saw through the lie that Yasir Qadhi is moderate Muslim. Topic: Why does the left continue to go after the free speech of people like Robert Spencer and John Guandolo? Topic: We take your calls.

Have Christians encountered Angels? What role do angels play in protecting Christians. Brannon begins the program by describing how one of his friends was in a serious car crash late at night on a deserted road.  She was trapped in her car and seriously injured when she and the only other person at the crash scene who came to her aid saw the evidence that someone on this remote road had indeed appeared and offered aid to this lady as she was trapped in her car. Why does this testimony not contradict scripture? What examples do we see in the Bible of people encountering angels without knowing it? Topic: Colossians 2:18 makes it very clear we are not to worship or pray to angels. Topic: Hebrews 1:14 describes angels as ministering spirits. What does this mean? Topic: Hebrews 13:2 declares that we should not forget to show hospitality to strangers for by doing so some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. What are the two possible meanings of this verse? Topic: Psalm 91:11 declares that God commands His angels to guard you in all your ways. How should these verses bring us peace and comfort as believers?

(Program #24) Usama Dakdok reveals the dangers of interfaith dialogues by playing the audio of the interfaith dialogue between James White and Jihadi Yasir-Qadhi. Usama will start and stop the audio as he provides commentary and uses this as a opportunity to refute the misinformation with truth.

On PTIB today Jimmy DeYoung will talk with Ken Timmerman, on the "cat-bird seat" in Washington, with the latest reports on geo-political events around our world. Jimmy and Ken will discuss Iran bragging about tricking the world, and now saying that they can start making nuclear WMD's with-in five days; Russia protecting Iran in Syria as they are building ballistic missiles for Syria; the UN saying that Syria used chemical weapons, over two dozen times, on their own people; Arab pundits saying Iran will follow in the footsteps of North Korea; and Russia and Egypt finalizing their nuclear reactor deal.

“I am the Lord, that is My name. My glory I will not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” There is no ambiguity here. It is clear that God will not tolerate the worship of images. But do crosses, crucifixes, or icons violate God’s commandment?
