(Part 2) Our topic for today is Apostasy. Actually, this is the second part of an interview with Dick Fisher—G. Richard Fisher—who’s a retired pastor but definitely one of the contributing writers to Personal Freedom Outreach Quarterly Journal. And, as I said, our topic has been Apostasy. We gave some definitions, but, Dick what I’d like to do is go back over—just give our listeners a better understanding of apostasy and what the problem is with regard to the church in our day.

Join us at The Forge Tactical as we discuss the Deep State and its many tentacles.  We will dive into the Deep State and learn about Lisa Barsoomian, what she does and who she is related too.  We will also discuss the FISA court matters and the lies that are being perpetrated on the American people.  We will close the show with a brief discussion on how to be a Berean of the bible.  In this day and age of change agents and wolves in the pulpit it is imperative that we Christians maintain a daily relationship with God and read his word.  Understand that the bible has been presented in ways that are not biblical and we must seek the Holy Spirit to clear such deliberate misdirection from many of todays pastors.

"This week UTT President John Guandolo shares clips from a lengthy interview with John B. Wells on the Salem Radio Network regarding the broader Islamic and Marxist counterstates and where we are in the war.  Join us and go deeper in your understanding of the threats we face, take the fight to the enemy, and put freedom back on the offensive where it belongs!  UnderstandingtheThreat.com"

Today we give a prophecy update. It’s astonishing how fast things are moving to prepare the way for the end times scenario predicted in the Bible. The topic of discussion includes Israel‘s successful red heifer breeding and why this has profound prophetic implications.

How LifeWay Bookstore Are Promoting the lies of Islam (Part 10)

Hi friends. This episode is part 2 of my conversation with Paul and Adam, the elders who serve with me at Calvary Chapel of Lima. This conversation picks up where we left off in part 1 where we discuss the theology of the prosperity gospel and the history behind it. There is some overlap between this episode and part 1 to establish context.

Today is the day that Jimmy DeYoung and Dave James have their weekly conversation as they meet at Jimmy's Broadcast Table, with a focus on the Jewish State of Israel, an apologetic for the proof of the authority of the Bible, the Word of God. Jimmy and Dave will use this session of PTIB to look, and discuss the significance of how the Bible, and its narrative on Jesus Christ, prove the Bible's absoluteness on all that is needed to speak to on this issue; God has not finished His plan for the Jews; and the Lord's commitment to finish His eternal plan for the Jews.

There are just two paths to seek an understanding of God. Either we accept His written revelation, or we invent our own idols to worship. Pastor Lutzer shares more from Isaiah on coming to grips with the true God and the way He thinks.

Can we even imagine what it will be like in the day when the prophecies of Isaiah regarding the millennial temple in Jerusalem literally come to pass within history? Yet we know that they will be fulfilled, because we know that God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end! This week on “Encounter God’s Truth,” host Wayne Shepherd assists Bible teacher Dr. John Whitcomb as we begin to consider the theme of “Hope amidst Punishment” from Isaiah 2. It is the latest installment in our series called “Isaiah: The LORD is Salvation.” Whitcomb Ministries thanks Middletown Bible Church in Middletown, Connecticut, for their fellowship in this Bible-teaching broadcast. Dr. Whitcomb first presented this message there several years ago. We trust that it will be a blessing to you now as you listen and share it with others.

If socialism is such a wonderful concept, why does it always fail and result in tragic results?  In this week's boralogue, John looks at the evils of socialism using Nicaragua and Venezuela as case studies, contrasting the totalitarianism in those countries with the freedoms our Constitution provides here.  The media will always praise socialism but we know the truth: it fails whenever it rears its Marxist head.

Social justice has morphed into a politically correct cudgel against free speech, but did it start out that way?  Michael Rectenwald (www.springtimeforsnowflakes.com), Liberal Studies Professor at NYU, rejoins the program to discuss how the origins of social justice were rooted in conservatism and family, but from there morphed into its current form of political correctness and totalitarianism.

After so many years of so-called importance, why is the issue of climate change found near the bottom of many people's concern lists now? Anthony Watts (www.wattsupwiththat.com), Founder and Editor of climate blog Watts Up With That, looks at both the history and future of climate change mania and notes the coercive tactics that alarmists have used to enforce their narrative.

The Catholic Church abuse scandal could be worse than many realize.  Philip Lawler (www.catholicculture.org), Director of Catholic Culture, examines the internal politics of the Church, how the Pope factors into it, and the often overlooked need for reform.

John’s quote of the week:

"In free societies, the laws are limited and very clear.  In totalitarian societies, they are many and they are vague.  That way anyone can be guilty whenever they have to be.  So people start self-censoring for fear of arbitrarily violating these norms, which are constantly changing."

Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a liberal in conservative clothing, says author Gregg Jackson. Kavanaugh has told the Senate, "I keep in mind the message of Matthew 25 -- and try to serve the least fortunate among us." Yet, he has also told the Senate that the Supreme Court's “silent holocaust” abortion ruling, which has led to 60 million abortions, is "settled law" and a "precedent" that must be followed. Gregg Jackson, co-author of We Won't Get Fooled Again, says the "Religious Right" has failed America by automatically endorsing flawed nominees for the Supreme Court such as Brett Kavanaugh and his mentor, Anthony Kennedy. The real issue is judicial supremacy and the need to re-establish the rule of law. "We've been living in a post-constitutional republic for some time," he says.

Get ready for a paradigm shift: God does not think like we do. He never has, and He never will. This means we need to change. We must learn to think like He does, rather than expecting God to conform to our ideas.

Paul Schlehlein is author of 'John G. Paton: Missionary to the Cannibals of the South Seas'. A graduate of Pensacola Christian College, he's also a missionary and church planter among the Tsongas in rural South Africa. He discussed his conversion, family and the release of a new book.

Has the church forgotten missions? Many believe that it's much bigger than that as so few in America today hardly know the stories of great missionaries like Jim Elliott and Hudson Taylor, missionaries Schlehlein claimed he was 'enamored' with. He noted that Taylor was better known for being 'consecrated to Christ' than by his good works in China; which included 'taking on the culture' and being 'excellent' in learning the language of others only to 'give them the gospel in a way that they could understand.'

Personally, Schlehlein illustrated that true missions work is not 'easy street.' His life thus far has been very adventurous and dangerous. Schlehlein shared his experience with an alligator which in turn led him to meeting an RN who would later become his wife. When asked what he feels his greatest challenge is, he quickly answered that it's the prosperity gospel (false gospel) which is 'exported from America today.' The popular 'healthy and wealthy' preaching does not include Christ's command to 'count the cost.' Schlehlein said that, 'Oftentimes our lives will get worse when we follow Christ.'

The true life story of John G. Paton inspired Schlehlein to write his new book saying that his story 'needs to be heard afresh.' Born in Scotland in 1824, his parents 'consecrated him to be a missionary.' They prayed 'much fruit for his labor.' 'It is said that Paton gave his heart to the islands of New Hebrides of the South Pacific. Paton's story was not 'without risk.' He would lose his wife and newborn son and was quoted to have said, 'If not for Christ, I would have gone mad beside that shallow grave.' Schlehlein says that Paton went on to marry again and lose several more children while on the mission field, all the while, building churches and remaining motivated for the work in making a clear gospel presentation. He was married to his second wife for 40 years and lived to 82 years of age.

Schlehlein's book explains that true Christianity today is not a life 'without risks' and that we should want to enter the risk if 'for gospel reasons' saying 'we need bare knuckled bravery' and 'courageous men like this today, for the gospel sake.'
