Arguments From Atheists (Part 3):
Steve and Mike continue to examine some of the
“best” arguments against Christianity. Various worldviews contribute to this show’s content and the hosts banter back and forth in typical NoCo style.

Today on PTIB Jim Jr joins me, as we deal with the potpourri of events in the month of September that many are saying will set the stage for the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. Jim and I will discuss these events to determine if, from a Biblical prospective, they truly are the precursors to the fulfillment of a Biblical scenario that God gave the ancient Jewish Prophets for us in these days, seemingly, the last days. You need to hear the response that I will give, and then pass along these thoughts to a friend.

Jim began this Crosstalk with a question: 'Have you ever been at the point knowing you need to study the Scriptures but you don't know how or where to begin?' He went on to describe Genesis as foundational to a proper understanding to the rest of the Bible. It introduces us to God, his creation, his sovereignty, his promise and his redemptive plan. A handy resource has been published allowing you to easily study Genesis on your own. It's called, '40 Days Through Genesis: Discover the Story that Started it All' and was written by Ron Rhodes. Ron is the president of Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries, a teaching and resource ministry that specializes in defending Christianity against atheists, agnostics, skeptics, the cults, world religions and any group teaching false doctrine. Ron is the author of over 70 books. According to Ron, Genesis means 'beginnings.' It represents the beginning of many things including the creation of the heavens and the earth, humankind, God's revelation to and interaction with humankind, human sin, the work of Satan, God's redemptive promise, Israel's birth through Abraham and the covenant relationships, etc. Here's a small sample of content that Ron covers on this program along with details he shares regarding his new book: --If Genesis is historical, how could Moses record the creation account? --What does the word 'created' mean in the context of Genesis? --Scripture reading and insight --Digging deeper with cross references --Life lessons --Questions for reflection and discussion --Why are Genesis and Revelation great 'bookends'? --Why is it important to be a 'Genesis Christian'? Overall, Ron believes you can't properly understand the rest of the Bible without first understanding Genesis. Find out why when you review this fascinating Crosstalk broadcast.

Ever wonder what eternity will be like? The best description we have is that of the Holy City, the New Jerusalem. Here, the saints will enjoy perfect health, serving God together into “the ages of the ages.”

Hacking Agag to Death (I Samuel 15:1-35)

Calls for a global government have been public and often for nearly a century. This week, John recalls the history of globalism from its roots in the NEA to calls for worldwide political unification from the United Nations. From the beginning, the goal has been to indoctrinate students to think as global citizens and to steer them away from the values of their parents and their churches. As we hurtle headlong toward a new world order, many of those ìmulticulturalî students are leading the charge.a The UN summit for the adoption of sustainable development policies will be held in New York in late September and will feature several world leaders, including Pope Francis. Globalism is alive and well with the plan to ìtransform our world.î Joining our globalism roundtable discussion this week are Dr. Dennis Cuddy (, Former Senior Associate at the U.S. Department of Education, Pat Wood (, Founder of the August Corporation and author of Technocracy Rising, and Brannon Howse (, Host and President of Worldview Weekend. We are approaching watershed events on the world stage in the areas of economics, geopolitics, and religion. Our guests discuss the path to global government, the rise in prominence of technocracy, and the role of Bible prophecy in the one world government. Do the global elites have a strategy to bring forth a new world order from the old chaos? Will technocracy improve our lives or curtail our freedoms? Is there a demonic influence behind the planned global dictatorship? We are in a battle of world views. Itís our responsibility to be ready and be educated. The Section 6 intelligence briefing is on hiatus this week as we take some time off for the summer. It will return in September. Please like us on Facebook at the Steel on Steel page and remember to join Praying for Persecuted Christians on Facebook as well for the latest information concerning Christians suffering for their faith around the world.

Most of us would agree that we live in a society that is driven by greed and laziness. We want to do minimal work for a whole lot of money, and many of us don’t want to live within the means that God has provided for us. We have veered far from a biblical view of a God-honoring work ethic and we are rearing a generation who are worse than we are! The apostle Paul through the Holy Spirit has much to say about work as we cover this most important topic of being employed by our Heavenly Master.

Saved From Small Faith (Part 1) Pastor Mike recently preached this sermon at Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, MA. Listen in to Saved From Small Faith--Part 1.

This is our part two of our interview with Jiovanne Del Cristo, and he ministers at Living Word [Church] which I mentioned is a Bible-centered bilingual church in Miami, Florida.

We have begun a study into the attributes of God. Last week we introduced the subject and talked about how knowledge of God and love for God are never to be separated, but combined. This week we look at an overview of the Communicable and Incommunicable attributes of God. Some of God's attributes He shares with us and some He does not. We will also discuss how God's attributes are interconnected with one another. I am really looking forward to this series with you!

“Every human being that’s ever walked this earth has a God-created capacity to recognize what’s right and wrong.” So states Bible teacher Dr. John Whitcomb as he instructs us regarding the importance of the conscience—beginning on this edition of “Encounter God’s Truth.” It is the first half of a two-part message called, “Steering Clear of Shipwreck.” We survey a number of Bible passages from both the Old and New Testaments, and Dr. Whitcomb exhorts us to examine ourselves and our own faithfulness to the Lord God in the spirit of the apostles. They asked Jesus—when He announced that one of them would betray Him—“Lord, is it I?” As Dr. Whitcomb shares, this is not an easy message, but one that can help us to stay focused on the path of service and blessing. In the words of host Wayne Shepherd, Whitcomb Ministries presents this Bible-teaching broadcast to increase your confidence in the certainty that God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. Thanks for listening!

Once again this week, as we do every week, Jimmy DeYoung has a conversation with Dave James about an issue that all Christians need to have a Biblical understanding of, on the subject. This weeks subject is the inspiration of God's Word, the Bible. The Bible is the foundation for our belief system and the foundation of our faith. In fact, we get our faith from the Bible. Faith come by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God, the Bible. You don't want to miss this program.

THE DOCTRINE OF HELL Chris discusses the Biblical teachings about God's eternal punishment of the wicked, as stated many places in Scripture. Yet a movement exists today aimed at proving that "hell" does not really exist, and that it is not a Biblical doctrine. Those who defend the idea argue that a loving God would never punish anyone with eternal torment, and that everyone will eventually go to Heaven. But how does the doctrine of Hell impact the Gospel? Will sinners truly turn toward Christ for salvation if they believe they will somehow be saved anyway?

James Daughtry was raised in a religious home but it was not until his Senior year in high school that he started reading the Bible and trusted Christ as Savior. After high school, the Lord put a burden on his heart for foreign missions. After graduating from Bible College he went to Mexico as a missionary. Through the years he has served as a missionary in various countries. He has taught for many years on the Bible's instructions for being a man. Through that experience he has authored a men's Bible study book, 'When I Became a Man.'

After the Millennium, heaven will literally descend to earth in the form of the New Jerusalem. This spectacular city will house the redeemed of all the ages. It’s what Jesus referred to when He said, “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places.”
