Beware of The Dogs (Phillipians 3:1-3)

Responding to Foolish Statements -Part 2 In part 2 of “Responding to Foolish Statements,” Mike answers the following challenges: Why are Christians against a woman’s right to choose (abortion)? Why are Christians so intolerant of other viewpoints? We shouldn’t teach creation because it is too divisive. God could have used evolution. Life must be on other planets. It’s arrogant to believe we are the only life in the Universe. The Bible is not real history. It is just a book of fiction and fairy tales.

Listen in as a very special lady shares regarding a trial she's going through that most of us can't imagine going through ourselves. Listen as she will rehearse the faithfulness of God along with some personal questions for her from Susan.

Is your narrative and worldview standing on solid ground? In this week’s boralogue, John shows that because freedoms of speech, religion, and conscience are under attack in the West, we need to know who we are and what we believe. Rooting ourselves in God’s Truth will prepare us for the spiritual battles plaguing our freedoms and will allow us to endure when the battle is over. We need to put on the full armor of God and take our stand. There are differences between not only Christianity and other religions but also within Christian sects. Bodie Hodge (, Speaker and Writer for Answers in Genesis, analyzes these differences by looking at worldviews from a religious perspective, what we base our beliefs on, and the importance of the authority of God’s Word. Assaults on freedom of religion will have an impact on the economy and business. Bill Walton (, Chairman of Rappahannock Ventures and host of On Common Ground, looks at new rights trumping old ones with recent court rulings, faith institutions under attack, and shows that we need to be educated in both history and current events in order to stand up under religious persecution. Finally we are joined by Paul House (, Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School, who reviews the seminary formation Dietrich Bonhoeffer required of his students, which was a radical departure from the norms of his day and based on a dedication to the Word of God as pertinent for each of his students, rather than something merely of academic interest. There is no Section 6 intelligence brief this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will return next week with important geopolitical stories. Please like us on Facebook at the Steel on Steel page and remember to join Praying for Persecuted Christians on Facebook as well for the latest information concerning Christians suffering for their faith around the world.

Today on PTIB we have a shocking report from Itamar Marcus, Director of Palestinian Media Watch, on what the Palestinian media is really saying to their people. Itamar will be interviewed by Jimmy DeYoung, the host of PTIB. Jimmy and Itamar will discuss the Palestinian leaders blaming Israel for the Paris terrorist attacks, not IS; the Palestinian Authority has produced a music video that praises martyrdom during a shooting attack; and Palestinian children have a right to throw stones at Jews.

Joseph could have been king—if the history of the nation of Judah had gone much differently! This week on "Encounter God's Truth" we begin our preparations for the Christmas season with a series on “The Fears and Faith of Joseph.” Theologian Dr. John Whitcomb will begin by rehearsing the historical background that led to the intriguing situation that unfolded around Jesus’ birth concerning the earthly father who adopted Him. After the sermon, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb how he thinks that Joseph would have handled life as a poor, humble carpenter—knowing that he could have been king of Israel. Was he was completely surprised to find that the Messiah King would be born in his home? God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end! May it guide us this Advent and Christmas season.

When a potter throws clay on the wheel, that clay has no choice about what it’s going to become. As the Potter, God is in charge of us—the clay. He has a purpose we can’t see, a purpose that takes us through the fire so that we are suitable for His service.

ISAIAH, EZEKIEL & THE NEWS Chris discusses certain prophecies in Isaiah and Ezekiel, comparing them with what's happening in the news today. Could the current events in the Middle East be leading towards the Gog and Magog invasion of Israel? What is the significance of the conflict between Russia and Turkey? Is our generation witnessing the groundwork for Armageddon?

Today we begin a series on the study of the book of 2 Timothy. This book will help us know how to respond to persecution from governments as well as from family or friends that reject us or criticize us for obeying God and holding fast to His Word and the gospel. Paul knew all too well about both persecution from government as he wrote the book of 2 Timothy while chained to a prison wall. Paul is writing to encourage Timothy as well as you to not leave the faith when times get tough. He also knew what it was like to have no one stand with him but to forsake him. In this letter Paul is encouraging young Timothy on how to stand for truth under such circumstances and to do so with peace. Paul knows that he is very likely to be murdered for the faith in very short order. Yet, Paul invites young Timothy to come to see him in prison so that he might see how God is faithful and has given him peace. In this broadcast Abner will challenge us to make sure that we do not seek to make the Word of God relevant to our life but to make our life relevant to the Word of God. Abner also challenges us to not seek for being relevant in the moment only to end up irrelevant for eternity. This program gives us the backdrop of 2 Timothy and sets the stage for our verse by verse study in this series with Abner Chou.

Propitiation (Part 2): Propitiation or expiation? Does it matter? Who propitiates? Is propitiation a pagan concept? Must God’s wrath be assuaged?

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has two of his Broadcast Partner's, Dave Dolan and Dr. Rob Congdon. Rob will give us a European Union Update, including Paris after the IS attack, and the EU exercising the "mutual defense clause" in the Lisbon Treaty, the EU treaty of record. But first, Dave Dolan gives a Middle East News Update, a look at a very important region of the world, as it relates to the end time scenario found in Bible Prophecy.

Ben Everson is an evangelist with Bible Revival Ministries. Ben is also an accomplished songwriter, vocalist and author of the book, 'The Revival Nobody Wants.' Ben began by describing what revival is and what it isn't. Revival is not raw emotionalism. It's also not a political movement. Biblical revival has to do with God working in the heart of the believer in such a way that they are brought into a close relationship with Him. That relationship is so close that it causes sin to be abhorrent to that individual. Revival has first and foremost to do with God's people. Ben noted that you can't revive (make alive again) that which has never been 'vived' in the first place. Is getting a large number of people into churches an indication of revival? Ben indicated that this is not necessarily true. He described 3 levels to revival. They include: Personal revival--We're as close to God as we want to be. Corporate revival--This involves people getting right with God. Testimonies are shared with the church, the church becomes convicted and before long, the church is experiencing corporate revival. Awakening—This is when the church is lit on fire, the community takes notice and people are brought to Christ. Ben warned listeners not to confuse political action for the truth or with a walk with God. In other words, it's possible to stand for all the right things externally but be far from God internally. How does the fire of revival get started in our own lives? How should we interpret 2 Chronicles 7:14? How does Ben describe the average state of the church in America? How can parents be effectively involved so that younger generations will know the Lord? Is there a correlation between music and revival? These and other questions are answered by Ben as he explained why revival starts in your house and not the White House. This program first aired September 30, 2015

Believers are told to “give thanks in everything.” Some will say, “Do you mean I’m to be thankful for calamity?” Let’s sharpen our focus on why we can and must be thankful, and how we can rejoice no matter what the circumstances.

Symptoms Of False Doctrine (Part 2) JC Ryle’s works are excellent and timely as well. Using Scripture, how did Ryle warn the church? What he said in the late 1800s is still relevant today. Listen in as Pastor Mike continues to talk about these topics.

On today's edition of PTIB Jimmy DeYoung will talk with Col Bob Maginnis, who is located at the Pentagon, with information on the radical terror group, Islamic State. Jimmy and Bob will discuss whether IS is really a "state" or is it simply an "ideology" that is driving the terror organization to kill hundreds of people in horrific ways; they will respond to the question, do world leaders really recognize that IS is a dangerous group; and is IS's eschatology the driving force behind this extreme terror, as IS determines to rule the entire world.
