Jimmy and Ken will discuss the recent Iranian Presidential elections and the final results which were already set in "stone" in Iran; Turkey's President Erdogan's visit to the White House and his meeting with President Trump; the United States accusing Syria of massive executions and using crematoriums to get rid of the bodies; a war between the two Koreas; and President Trump setting in place a new strategy in the Middle East.

Experiencing God part 1 - May 26, 2017

Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby burst onto the evangelical and especially the Southern Baptist scene in the mid 90s. It is still being taught in churches all over the world today. To say that it has been a publishing juggernaut would be quite the understatement. In this study Blackaby tells people how to hear God's voice in the various ways He supposedly speaks. Is this, however, a doctrinally sound study? Are the hermeneutics employed reliable? Jim Osman and I discuss.

God wants His servants focused on God’s agenda, not their own. It took extraordinary measures to get Jonah back on the road to Ninevah, but he finally went, in body if not in heart. Let’s learn how Jonah’s lessons continued, and the importance for us today.

While away from US soil this week, the Trump administration has released it's first annual budget. Today, Jim Schneider discusses the budget with Robert Romano. Robert is the senior editor with Americans for Limited Government, a non partisan organization dedicated to restoring the constitutional limited powers of government at the federal, state and local levels.

Several charges are coming against President Trump's budget. Some have even said it will be dead on arrival. Romano says this budget will reduce America's spending by $4.5 trillion - calling it a "sober, conservative budget." Romano says the last 10 years have been the "worst for economic growth in America's history" and that it's "gonna take a long time to clean up this mess." Romano is encouraged, saying growth is "possible and it should happen." Creating jobs and getting "more back into the labor force will have a huge impact" Romano says.

Talking points regarding NATO, cuts to food stamps, medicaid, block grants, etc, are all brought out. Romano discusses the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, national defense spending, trade, Trump's border wall, NAFTA, the EPA, and even Planned Parenthood. Romano says "american taxpayers do not want to fund abortions."

All in all, Romano says that Americans must be "frugal" rather than using government "solutions" to grow the economy. He adds "as Reagan said, the best social program is a job."

SAUDI ARABIA, COMMUNISM & ROME
Chris continues the discussion on the dangers of the Western political view of Saudi Arabia.  Yet Western leaders have a long history (even prior to the Second World War) of favoring Islam
and Arabia against the Christian world.  Also discussed is some of the history of Rome and the principles of Communism, which find some origins in the teachings of ancient Catholic writers such
as Thomas Aquinas and his views of private property ownership.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has Itamar Marcus, the director of Palestinian Media Watch, as his Broadcast Partner, to detail the Palestinian thinking about the Trump visit to Israel and the Palestinian areas, and the Jerusalem Day celebrations going on in the City of Jerusalem, the very controversial city in Israel. Jimmy and Itamar will discuss the Trump visit to the region; the Trump Netanyahu meetings; the Trump Abbas meeting; the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resolution and the fact that the Palestinians say the Jews have no connection to Jerusalem, which is a major hinderance to the peace process.

What God did in Uganda part 5 - May 25, 2017

Today Mike and I conclude our series about the things we saw God do in Uganda. Mike tells us about pastor Bill's recent trip to the United States and how things are going with him, his family and the church.

Ever been at the end of your rope? Jonah was, when he found himself in the belly of a fish. God has amazing ways of getting us to say yes. He arranges conditions so that we will choose to do His will.

Can Islam be reformed? That's the question today as host Jim Schneider visits with Usama Dakdok.

With 22 dead, and several more wounded in the most recent terror attack on Manchester (reportedly all in the name of Allah) many questions are again coming to the surface.

Usama Dakdok answers the primary question today "Absolutely not!" Dakdok says "just as Christianity cannot be reformed, you cannot reform Islam." Very sadly, Dakdok says terrorism such as this will become the "norm" if America and others "sit by and do nothing." Dakdok says that despite what is being reported, acts such as this "is Islam" (as described in the Koran). A "gushing river of blood will continue if nothing is done" Dakdok says. He also affirms that "Allah is Satan" and that Islam is "worse than cancer."

Who was the reported Manchester attacker? News reports are trying to water down the story by saying this attacker was simply "radical." Their dismissal of the seriousness of the day affirms that some in America are more worried about an anti Islamic backlash than seeing this kind of thing coming to a final end. But can it? Dakdok says that Americans can still "fix this" as only 1% or less in America are Muslim but, 10-20 years would make a major difference. While Dakdok says that he does not hate Muslims, he does "hate Islam." In fact, Dakdok says "Muslims are lost and many have no idea what the Koran even says!" Dakdok affirms that this war on terrorism cannot be won with "bullets or bombs" but, with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

On this Crosstalk, Dakdok offers advice on how we in America can use our own laws and constitution to get rid of Islam for good, and Jim Schneider reintroduces a 20 page booklet which will aid you in sharing today's "vital" information. Jimmy and Winkie will also discuss the Trump visit, why he did not announce the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem; and the importance of the City of Jerusalem to the Jews and the rest of the world.
