The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a very controversial site, as foretold by the ancient Jewish Prophet Zachariah, Zachariah 12:2. Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung speaks with Winkie Medad, from Israel, on the controversy surrounding the Temple Mount and the Western Wall where the Jews pray daily. Jimmy and Winkie will discuss why the Jews pray at that spot; the Israeli Cabinet making a decision that couples can pray together at the WW; and there is opposition to that decision from the Orthodox Jews, the Muslim community and even archaeologist.

THE RISE OF SOCIALISM IN AMERICA Chris discusses the dramatic and somewhat shocking rise of Bernie Sanders as America's first "Democratic Socialist" running for president. The media has been stunned at the large crowds Sanders has gotten, and the enthusiastic support -- especially from young people. But where does this come from? Is this the fruit of the Marxist agenda at work in our education system? Also discussed is the support of the Jesuit Pope Francis for illegals coming across the Mexican border, along with the story of the pastors who declared "the favor of the Lord" on Hillary Clinton, and pronounced her to be the next president.

Are You Converted? (Part 2): Listen in as Pastor Mike preaches this recent sermon titled "Are You Converted? (Part 1)," from Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, MA.

There’s a good reason why the Bible tells us to guard our hearts. We must consider the mind of a sex addict to see what leads someone there, and then prescribe steps we should take to prevent being addicted to explicit images.

In recent weeks there has been concern around the world regarding the Zika virus. Brazil is reported to be the epicenter of the epidemic that now spans nearly 3 dozen nations and reports of U.S infections are being reported. In light of this there have been pro-abortion groups that are using this concern as a means to raise funds for abortion advocacy and to pressure the international community toward abortion. Joining Jim to discuss these concerns was Dr. David Stevens. Dr. Stevens is the chief executive officer of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, a national organization of health care professionals that seeks to change hearts in healthcare. Dr. Stevens has helped develop an evangelism training program that teaches health care professionals how to share their faith in a healthcare setting. Dr. Stevens appears regularly on interviews and is the author of 'Jesus MD, Beyond Medicine'. He also has been involved extensively in the area of medical missions. According to Dr. Stevens, the Zika virus has been around in Africa for a long time. It's passed via mosquitoes though there is the possibility of it being passed, although rarely, from mother to child or through sexual contact. If contracted, most people don't even know they have it. In fact, one-in-five that do contract the virus have no symptoms at all. If there are symptoms they can range from feeling like you have the flu, you may develop a rash, joint pain and 'pink eye' otherwise known as conjunctivitis. Even if you get these symptoms, usually within a few days to a week you feel better. Although it hasn't been proven yet, the Zika virus has been linked with microcephaly where a child's head is born too small and the brain is poorly developed. Another concern is that it's causing miscarriages and in even rarer instances, Guillain Barre syndrome, which can bring on paralysis. Jim had Dr. Stevens comment on news from Breitbart Media that International Planned Parenthood Federation in the Western Hemisphere is taking advantage of this outbreak to ask for donations to expand access to abortions and birth control. It's also been reported that pro-abortion groups along with the U.N. have been pushing for nations in South America to legalize abortion as they work to curb the spread of the virus. In the end, Dr. Stevens noted that it's not our job to make sure that every child born is perfect. God allows this to happen. If we can prevent disease we need to do that but at the same time we also need to realize that life is precious whether there's a genetic or a developmental problem.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has two of his Broadcast Partners, Usama Dakdok and Dr Rob Congdon, joining him for very important conversations. Jimmy will talk with Rob about the United States saying they are going to quadruple their military spending in Europe. But first Jimmy will discuss with Usama about President Obama visiting a Mosque in Maryland and also look into the reports that IS is killing Christians in the Middle East by the thousands.

Ken Ham is the president, CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis and the highly acclaimed Creation Museum. Ken is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America. Ken is the author and editor of numerous books including the Answers Series (Volumes 1-4), The Lie: Evolution, Six Days: The Age of the Earth and the Decline of the Church, Already Gone, Already Compromised, Ready to Return and many more. Jim had Ken begin by bringing listeners an update on the building of a life-sized, authentic replica of Noah's Ark in Kentucky. The Ark Encounter will be a world-class attraction that will be open to the public on July 7, of this year. With its 3 decks, 132 exhibit bays and a length of 510 feet, a width of 85 feet and a height of 51 feet, it will be the largest timber frame structure in the world. Ken also presented details of a recent lawsuit victory involving a previous governor who wanted to wrongfully discriminate against the Creation Museum and the Ark Project. The governor would not allow them to be part of a tax incentive/rebate on sales tax because he felt that as a Christian organization they would be proselytizing and also because the museum has a religious preference in hiring employees. In a 71 page ruling, a federal judge recently ruled in favor of the museum quoting both the First Amendment and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Charles Darwin has long since passed on but his legacy continues in the teaching of the theory of evolution. In more recent times there's been a movement to get more and more churches to capitulate toward teaching his theory. This movement began in 2006-2007 by atheist Michael Zimmerman as Evolution Sunday and has been celebrated on the Sunday closest to Darwin's birthday (February 12th). In order to accommodate some Jewish congregations, this movement has expanded to the point where it's now known as Evolution Weekend. In addition to discussion of Evolution Weekend, Ken also presented listeners with information on Zimmerman's Clergy Letter Project. Over 13,000 congregation have signed the Christian clergy version of this letter. It claims that the overwhelming majority do not read the Bible literally, stories such as the creation of Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark convey truth but are not to be taken literally as well as claiming that the theory of evolution is a foundational scientific truth.

The Bible bluntly says, “Touch not the unclean thing.” In the midst of our technological age which is filled with sensuality, we must take bold steps and make choices that honor God. It matters where we scroll, swipe, type, or click, and we must choose each day to avoid sexual sin.

Speaking In Tongues Rerun (Part 2): On today's show Pastor Mike continues to talk about speaking in tongues. What are the different views on speaking in tongues? What does the New Testament say about speaking in tongues? How has the meaning of speaking in tongues changed over time? What is the difference between speaking in tongues and speaking a foreign language? Many folks claim that they can speak in tongues. Is this a spiritual gift only for people back in the New Testament era or is it for people today too? Can you learn this gift? Most importantly, what does the Bible say about speaking in tongues?

Topic: The U.S. stock market plunges, gold soars over $63 an ounce in one morning and reports are that some huge European banks could be on the verge of collapsing. What does all this mean for you? What role is the crash in oil prices playing in this in regards to derivatives? If some major European banks collapse and the International Monetary Fund takes over them, how might this fit in with the rise of a Euro-centric world economy? Topic: What would happen if Bernie Sanders won the White House? Topic: Brannon returns to the topic of drumming circles that he discussed the day before and we hear from callers. Topic: We take your calls?

A church in Wisconsin has advertised on their Facebook page a drumming circle. Do they know what a drumming circle is really all about? Are you familiar with this? Is this the next trend coming into evangelicalism? First it was transcendental meditation camouflaged under the term contemplative prayer and then was Christian yoga that is not Christian at all. Now it is drumming circles. Drumming circles are also known as shamanic drumming coming from the word shamanism. Brannon reads from the writings a drumming expert and author. Native Americans practice drumming circles and have reported the manifestations of spirit images. The goal of a drumming circle is to enter the spirit world or what practitioners also call tapping into a energy vortex. The drumming includes prayers to Father Sky and Mother Earth. Topic: One of the experts of drumming circles was raised in a conservative baptist church and claims to have had his first ecstatic experience as a student at a church revival. He claims to have experienced a trancelike elation that inspired his spiritual quest. What kind of activities and methods have been promoted over the years within evangelicalism that could have encouraged this and the belief that truth or spirituality is obtained by emotional and subjective experiences? Topic: We take your calls.

Today on PTIB it's a Middle East News Update with Jimmy DeYoung and Dave Dolan talking about this key region of the world. Jimmy and Dave will discuss the Iran military chief who says the Iranian missile program is to threaten Iran's enemies, and Israel is one of their enemies; the Israeli air force is keeping its eye on Iran, in light of the Iranian nuclear deal; Jordan is at a boiling point as Syrian refugees overflow the nation of Jordan; and 10,000 French Jews will immigrate to Israel in 2016.
