In today’s program, we begin a two-installment series of classics from our Search the Scriptures Daily archives with the late founder of The Berean Call, Dave Hunt, and TBC executive director Tom McMahon. This week, they address the question: “Do You Have the Faith of a Mustard Seed?”

Series: With the Master is Fullness of Joy Lesson: 07 Title: Standing, Striving and Suffering Passage: Philippians 1:27-30 Description: As we finish chapter one of Philippians, Paul will mention certain goals he has in mind for the church at Philippi. By the way, these are much needed goals in our day for every believer in Jesus Christ. Paul will write regarding how to stand, how to strive and how to suffer.

Happy Memorial Day weekend. We wish everyone a safe and festive weekend and offer up prayers to those who have served or who are currently serving in our military and their families. We will forego the boralogue this week and jump right in with our first guest, historian Dr. Dennis Cuddy (www.newswithviews.com), who discusses the slow Marxist influence in our schools over the past several years and how the power elites today are taking advantage of this failing education system by stifling free speech and redefining both history and moral values. How has racism in the United States gotten to the point where only some lives matter? David Horowitz (www.horowitzfreedomcenter.org), Chairman of the Horowitz Freedom Center, joins us to examine racism according to the progressive Left and the hijacking of the civil rights movement. John’s quote of the week: “These ideas, these tactics are nothing new. They were used by Hitler; they were used by Stalin. We must stand up, fight against them, and continue to tell the truth.” There will be no Section 6 intelligence briefing this week as we take some time off for Memorial Day, but the segment will return next week. Please like us on Facebook at the Steel on Steel page and remember to join Praying for Persecuted Christians on Facebook as well for the latest information concerning Christians suffering for their faith around the world.

Is the Catholic Church the one true church? The answer is a resounding no. Mike Gendron proves this fact.

My friend and Board member, Mike Miller and his son, Jacob, just returned from our trip to India. This was, by God's grace, a fruitful trip. I will tell you about Samuel Raju who pastors 3 churches and cares for orphans and widows in his own home - 50 of them. I'll also share with you some of the feedback we received from our teaching there. It was most encouraging. We also had a bit of opposition from the Hindus. They tried to stop us with truckloads of sand but were unsuccessful (I'll explain that one). I'll also share the stories of Aditya and Madhav, two brothers in the Lord who, by His grace alone, have been impacted by the teaching of this ministry. All of you who support this work whether by prayers or finances or both are a part of this - and I thank you. To God be the glory.

Glorious Glory (Phillipians 4:19-20)

Welcome to a special patriotic edition of "Encounter God’s Truth." You know Dr. John Whitcomb as a Bible teacher, author and educator. But did you know that he served in a field artillery battalion in the Army in Europe during World War II? And that his family has a rich history of military service? This week’s broadcast varies from our normal format, as we are going to listen to a portion of an interview that Brannon Howse conducted with Dr. Whitcomb on his program, “Worldview Weekend Radio,” where Dr. Whitcomb appears regularly as a guest. They held this conversation in April of 2015, after Dr. Whitcomb went to tour Washington, D.C., on the Indy Honor Flight. They discussed that memorable event, then went into some of the details that Dr. Whitcomb remembers from World War II. We are grateful for Brannon's permission to bring this unforgettable audio to you.

Today Jimmy DeYoung has a very interesting conversation with Winkie Medad, a politico, a journalist and a very good friend to us here at Prophecy Today. Jimmy and Winkie will discuss the new "coalition government for the Israeli Prime Minister, with a new Defense Minister who is a "right-wing" politician; the PM says he needs a right-wing government to deal with his radical enemies in the region; the inclusion of a Temple Mount Activist, Rabbi Yehuda Glick, now a member of the Israeli Knesset, who is saying that he will work in the government to get rights for Jewish Worshipers to enter the Temple Mount and to even pray on this, the most holy site for the Jewish people.

Lot chose to ally with the King of Sodom, to his eventual ruin. Abraham paid homage to the King of Salem, Melchizedek, priest of the God Most High. From that choice has flowed blessing to the entire world.

Many current news stories were highlighted--here are just a few of them: In Middle-east news: The Times of Israel reports that Iran is now saying they have the ability to destroy Israel in less than eight minutes. They are testing missiles, tests that are not forbidden by the Iran agreement, but are inconsistent with a UN Security Council resolution, Iran is also renewing support for the the Palestinian terrorist group, Islamic Jihad in Gaza, as they work to strengthen their fight against Israel. A Lebanese newspaper reports that Hezbollah celebrated the anniversary of Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon by announcing that they are building tunnels into Israel, and claiming that they taught Hamas to do the same along the Gaza-Israel border. Here are just a few of many stories about promoting and requiring accommodation of transgenders in stores, schools, and elsewhere: Eleven states are now filing suit against the directive by the Education and Justice Departments giving "guidance" to all public schools to open their rest rooms and dressing rooms for the use of students based on their gender identity, not their physical sex. The states include Texas, Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah, and Georgia, plus Arizona's Department of Education and Main Governor Paul LePage. 43 Republican members of Congress joined Democrats to vote for Barack Obama's trans-gender agenda, ratifying an executive order barring contractors who "discriminate" against sexual identity, even in their private employment policies. Southern Poverty and Law Center complained to the Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC) of the State of Alabama about Chief Justice Roy Moore, and now former Legal Director of the SPLC has been Hired by the JIC to prosecute Moore. It is now reported by Lifesite News that in addition to the bathroom regulations in the "guidance" for accommodating transgender students in all public school, another provision states that during such activities as field trips that include overnight stays, school districts must allow biological males and females to stay together in the same hotel room, and if they alert the young women or their parents in advance, they risk a federal lawsuit. Target Stores are now suing a man who protected a girl who was being stabbed at a store in Pennsylvania. Her attacker was convicted of criminal assault, but Target now charges that the man, who was hailed at the time as a hero who likely saved her life, acted irresponsibly. Girl Scouts of NE New York will now allow trans-gender members. The governor of Oregon, Keith Brown, who is openly bi-sexual, has encouraged people to speak out positively in bi-sexual language.

Can Boaz Be Trusted (Part 1) Listen in as Pastor Mike preaches this recent sermon titled: "Can Boaz Be Trusted (Part 1)."

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has two of his Broadcast Partners that each have a report dealing with very important issues. Rick DeYoung, Jimmy's youngest son, is in Istanbul, Turkey, and has a report about the political moves of President Erdogan, which are moving him to a place where he could become a "Dictator". But first, Jimmy will talk with Dr Rob Congdon who has a European Union Up-date for us today.

POPE FRANCIS, AMERICA & THE CONSTITUTION Chris discusses a recent story from Breitbart that reveals Pope Francis "probably" dislikes both America and Americans -- according to a Vatican insider. More specifically "conservative" Americans are the Pope's real problem. Could the Pope's membership in the Jesuit Order have something to do with it?

Tim Keller and Direct Speaking: How should Pastors respond to the question, "Is homosexuality a sin?" The Veritas Forum reveals one approach. Mike and Steve disagree with Keller' approach.

Abraham lets his nephew Lot pick the land he wants, and he agrees to take what’s left over. Lot quickly chooses the best even though it would lead to ruin. God gives His best to those who entrust their future to Him.

Alex Newman is an international freelance journalist, educator and consultant. He has a degree in journalism from the University of Florida and has worked for numerous publications. He is the co-author of the book “Crimes of the Educators”. Its subtitle is, “How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children”. As a freelance journalist he writes for The New American. There has been a great deal of concern after a plan to create trans-national agencies that will have authority over national and local laws and regulations, and which essentially will standardize how things are controlled in both the United States and the European Union. Already there are international institutions that operate with the authority of courts, often meeting in secret, that overrule national laws and the rulings of state and national courts, which enable large corporations to get around laws they do not like in a state or country where they operate. The TTIP, or "Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership", is another step towards international consolidation of power, following the TTP, the "Trans-Pacific Partnership", which was announced last year. Like many other proposals, the plan appears to be to somehow place the TTIP in operation without the American people knowing what is going on. In fact, it would not be known now had there not been leaks of information from insiders. Perhaps of most concern in this latest revelation is the plan to eventually merge the United States and the European Union, along the lines of the international trade agreements that have already been negotiated, with the result that the United States will be controlled by these international entities, much as European countries must adhere to the rules of the international European Union. There would be no more national sovereignty. Even in Europe this has not been accepted universally, and Great Britain is preparing for a referendum on whether to withdraw from the EU. Although the EU has been in operation for many years, support in Europe is very low, though most establishment leaders are giving lip service to the idea. Those in control in the European Union see the TTIP as an opportunity for them to increase and consolidate their power. The argument is that if everyone is controlled by the same rules, it will simplify legal decisions. But it goes against one of the main reasons for the U.S. Revolution--preserving the right to govern ourselves. Theoretically, if the American people approved an amendment to the Constitution to allow foreign entities to override American law, it could be done legally. Any other way is an unconstitutional usurpation of power, going against government "of the people, by the people, and for the people". Even those promoting this program realize that there is rising citizen opposition, and it appears that any action in Congress would be delayed until after the November election, so that our Senators and Representatives would not need to face the voters after they make their positions known. It would be a "lame duck" session of Congress where controversial bills can be passed with little recourse for the voters. To become in involved, first become educated yourself, then share that information with other citizens. Then move on with letters to the editor, and contacts with legislators.
