THE FEAR OF THE LORD Chris discusses what the Scripture says about the fear of the Lord, and the many promises toward those who walk in the fear of God. Also, what does the Scripture tell us about the fear of man? The Scriptures give us many admonitions about how to overcome the fears of this present world, and grow in our learning to trust in Christ.

On today's episode, JD discusses a few different news stories, and then takes some sincere questions and follows up with some quotations from CH Spurgeon.

Thankfulness Or Jesus–Part 4 Ten lepers get healed. Once comes back to say, “thanks.” What is Luke 17 about? If you said, “thankfulness,” you would be wrong. Tune in to find out the real answer.

Ken Timmerman, out of Washington, covers geo-political events in our world for Jimmy DeYoung on PTIB. Today Ken is in France and has his report for us. Jimmy and Ken will talk about his reflections of the recent Israeli elections; the massive military exercises going on all across Russia; IS quoting the Quran in justification for their vow to destroy the White House and demolish the Jewish State of Israel; the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia calling for the destruction of all churches in the Middle East and the US omits both Iran and Hizbullah from the US terrorist list.

Christians often get tripped up by issues of finance. Whose money is it really? Mine, or someone else’s? Jesus had much to say about money, and if we’re serious about crowning Him as our Lord, we need to listen to what He has to say.

This edition of Crosstalk featured a recorded message by Shahram Hadian, born in Iran, a former Muslim, now a Christian Pastor and former candidate for Governor of the State of Washington. This message was originally presented at a Steeling the Mind Conference put on by Compass International which brings top Christian speakers together to address timely spiritual issues. Shahram speaks on the critical issues facing this nation and has started the Truth in Love Project. He warns of the true goal of Islam and the threat of Shariah.

What Jesus Said Before He Was Born–Part 2 Did God save people before time began? Is God free to choose His children? Pastor Mike continues the series of things Jesus said in eternity past.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung talks with Dr Rob Congdon about many issues that all focus on the European Union, including the EU's reaction to the recent Israeli elections. But first, Jimmy will talk with Itamar Marcus about the Palestinians and what they think about Netanyahu winning with such a large margin, and how also this may turn into a positive in the Palestinian world.

For every Olympic track star, there are ten thousand runners who never make the team. But that’s no reason to give up. Many believers with few talents approach life with a clenched fist rather than an open hand, but God prefers the latter.

This edition of Crosstalk featured callers from across the nation as the phone lines were opened and people shared what was on their hearts. Some of the topics and points brought up included: --Alabama Judge Roy Moore and organic law. --A listener said they may throw out their TV and replace it with a fish tank. --Christians and the privilege of voting. --Denominational divisions in the body of Christ. --The slogan on the ISIS flag and President Obama's ring. --President Obama and impeachment. --A Muslim actor to portray Jesus in upcoming movie. --The possible reason for President Obama's Hawaii home. --Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will be charged with desertion. --Concern about a pastor who seems to avoid praying in the name of Jesus. --Motivate conservative Christians to get involved in primary elections. --Christianity is dead in America due to a lukewarm clergy. --When is God going to call an end to all of this?

Is VBS Biblical? Should your church have Vacation Bible School? Is it just a way to invite pagans to church? Mike and Steve discuss on today’s show.

Today on PTIB we have coming to you a Middle East News Up-date from Dave Dolan. Jimmy DeYoung will talk to Dave about the most recent Israeli National elections and the most amazing turn-around for the Likud, an Israeli political party, one of many. These two will also discuss the Obama Administration's response to the Israeli elections and Obama's threat to the Israeli's.

Israel utilizes a parliamentary system of government although it is different from the parliamentary system of Europe. Israel has about 10 different parties that are elected to be in the Knesset (Israel's parliament) each year. So unlike voting in the U.S., in Israel they don't vote for an individual, they vote for a political party. At the end of the election the president of Israel (whose position is mostly ceremonial) meets with the heads of the political parties that were elected to the Knesset and the head of each of those parties recommends who they think should form the next governing coalition.

We’ve all been given gifts and abilities. It’s not how many we have, it’s how we use them that’s important. Rather than complaining about what we don’t have, we need to focus on how to best use the gifts we do have.
