Allah is Satan and Jesus is God (Part Thirty)

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung will bring to this broadcast table Dave Dolan who has a Middle East News Up-date for all of us. Dave has much experience as a journalist in that region of the world, and thus great insight into the events unfolding in the news today. Jimmy and Dave will discuss PM Netanyahu forming a new Israeli government; the EgyptAir crash, the latest on this horrific event; and a group of leading Rabbis in Israel who are saying the best way to deal with terrorism is to shoot the terrorist on sight, and then deal with the terrorism.

THE OFFENSE OF THE GOSPEL Chris discusses a new story about how the Archbishop of Canterbury has told Christians in the U.K. that they should not share their faith unless asked about it. The apparent context of his comments had to do with an ecumenical gathering of leaders from different faiths (Muslims, Hindus, etc.,) and so Christians were instructed not to offend the unbelievers. The U.K. Express reported, "Christians ordered to keep faith quiet ..." But is such an approach in keeping with a Biblical standard? How did the apostles witness in the first century? Did they keep quiet in the face of idolatry? Or did they speak against it? Jesus warned that believers would be hated by all men for His name's sake (Matthew 10:22). How is the Gospel being impacted by the politically correct ecumenical movement?

Pat Roy served at the Institute for Creation Research for 12 years and saw the devastating effects of an evolutionary world view on the families of our society. He was the creator of the Jonathan Park Audio Adventures. He has a passion to reach families with the message that we are indeed fearfully made, and now services as Director for Genesis Apologetics and Creation Quest. Pat says that his passion comes from the description in Romans 1 about what happens when people reject the evidence of the creator in the creation all around us; a description of what is taking place around us in society today. When talking to students on college campuses, many admit they were raised in a Christian family, were active in church activities, etc. but who now do not attend church, and many admitted they had lost their faith. When asked how long it took them to reject Christianity after starting college, and the time was often only about six months, and the most common reason was the teaching of evolution. And this amounts to the rejection of God described in Romans, and which has devastating consequences. Now Pat intends to regularly visit college campuses in order to present the evidence that creation is actually more scientific than evolution, when the evidence is examined fairly. But in public schools today, it is not a question of "if" evolution will be taught, but "when" and how strongly it will be presented. The textbooks are full of evolutionary teachings that are being taught without any other viewpoints being acknowledged. Since teachers are authority figures, and the textbooks are presented as the source of the truth, it is much easier to believe them rather than to challenge what is contrary to the Bible. These public school Junior and Senior High level textbooks present evolution in about 12 different areas. Pat and his organization have developed a book to debunk evolution point by point in these 12 areas. They also ordered 120,000 wristbands for teens to wear, with the web URL debunkevolution.com printed on them. They then learned that the CEO of the company that filled the order is dedicated to promoting evolution, and because he had helped a creation project, donated part of the profits to an organization that works to promote evolution in the schools! Despite this unusual development, it has opened the door to tell their story and give out the wristbands.

Kirby Myers Interview (Part 1): Pastor Mike interviews Kirby Myers. From his FCA page (https://my.fca.org/5068-myers-kirby.aspx):Romans 5:8Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. I love in Scripture where we can find the Gospel in one single verse. The Gospel is a demonstration of the love of God. Though we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die the death that we deserved. Christ did not die for us when we had it all together. He died for us when we were helpless and hopeless sinners. This is good news. And this is the message that I will be taking to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence at the United States Naval Academy through the ministry of FCA. Thank you for your prayerful consideration in supporting my ministry in Annapolis, Maryland!

To save his skin, Abraham bent the truth and told Egypt’s Pharaoh that his wife was his sister. His journey of faith hit an early snag as he tried to out-maneuver the Egyptians rather than trust in God.

Jim opened the program with some good news: The Pacific Justice Institute reports that two-year old Israel Stinson, whose parents have been fighting to keep a hospital from removing his life support, was moved on Saturday to a different, undisclosed hospital, which has promised to continue feeding Israel and further his treatment and care. Usama Dakdok is the Founder & Director of the "Straightway of Grace Ministry", equipping Christians to be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ to their Muslim neighbors, as well as ministering to Muslims directly. Usama is an Egyptian born Christian. While living in Egypt, he studied Islam and Islamic law during his school years. Usama speaks fluent Arabic, and has translated the Qur'an into English. He is the speaker on the program, “Revealing the Truth about Islam” which airs daily on VCY America. A number of current events were discussed, including the many acts of terrorism around the world, the vast majority of which have ties to Islam, while politically-correct government and religious leaders continue to claim that Islam is peaceful, and that these attacks do not represent true Islam. Usama clarified the truth about these claims by quoting from the Qur'an itself, which is the final authority about Muslim faith and actions. Among the topics covered were: --The new Muslim mayor of London has invited Donald Trump to come and be shown how Islam is compatible with Western values. --In the United States, there are continued calls about the need to "assimilate" with the many Muslim "refugees", but these are accompanied by the warning that if we do not "assimilate", there will be more acts of terrorism! --And in Europe, it is obvious that Muslim immigrants make no attempt to "assimilate" with European culture, but rather gather in Islamic enclaves, amid news reports of attacks and rapes of women, and other violent actions against the citizens of the countries they have entered. --A Russian nanny, who decapitated a girl she was looking after and then paraded around Moscow with the girl's head shouting "Allahu Akbar", will not face trial for murder as she the court ruled she is insane and not responsible--despite the fact that her actions are consistent with the Qur'an. --Jihadis are recruiting from Muslim workers at airports in France, which would make it easy to endanger aircraft, as to screen these Muslim employees would be "Islamophobic". --Former CIA director David Petraeus says that increasing anti-Muslim rhetoric in the United States threatens to drive "more moderate Muslims" to terrorism. --Even Pope Francis now states the the West is responsible for Muslim terrorism, even comparing the violent Muslim conquest ordered by the Qur'an to Christians carrying out the Great Commission by persuasion and not by force.

Don Green Interview: Don, cut from NoCo style and substance, offers pastoral wisdom in an undiscerning day. Special new feature: What is stuck in Pastor Don’s craw? Wow. http://www.truthcommunitychurch.org

Abraham was chosen by God to leave the comforts of Ur and journey to a land he had never seen. His house became a tent, and he came face to face with challenges he had never expected. Abraham’s faith was tested repeatedly.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung will go to Washington, to the "catbird seat" where Jimmy will find Ken Timmerman. Jimmy and Ken will discuss the geo-political events in our world, including the Egypt Air crash and the investigation as to whether it was terrorism that brought down the commercial airliner, or not; Ken's article on the French effort to ratchet up the security system at its airports; the US decides to arm the Libyan Government, to fight IS in Libya; IS killing it's opposition in Libya: and Iraqi violence is responsible for the killing of hundreds in war-torn Iraq.

Allah is Satan and Jesus is God (Part Twenty-Nine)

Topic: The Atlantic Magazine writes about the quest of some to genetically change humans in order to combat global warming. The quest includes pills to cause human to get sick when they eat meat so they will no longer eat meat. Another goal is to give human cat eyes so they can see real well in the dark and not need so many lights. As crazy as this sounds it is not a joke and transhumanism and technocracy is a real issues Christians should understand so we might properly respond. Topic: Faith leaders to meet with Donald Trump to set his faith values. The problem is some of the folks mentioned in the article we have on video working with some of the most whacked out, false teachers. If these men do not have a biblical faith to not promote false teachers like Rick Joyner and Lou Engle are they really the ones to test the faith values of Donald Trump? Topic: We take your calls.

“Encounter God's Truth” presents a unique program this weekend. Bible scholar and author Dr. John Whitcomb is going to give insights into “The Second Law of Thermodynamics.” He will show through the intersection of Scripture with science how God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. Host Wayne Shepherd guides us through this special broadcast, asking our teacher about the implications of the Second Law of Thermodynamics for the creation week, the time since the fall, the future millennial kingdom—and even the spiritual conditions in the church.

Series: With the Master is Fullness of Joy Lesson: 06 Title: Paul’s Dilemma - To Live or Die? Passage: Philippians 1:22-26 Description: As we come to lesson 6 we will see that the apostle Paul was faced with a dilemma; to live or to die, which was better? Many of us wish to die to get out of a hard situation, many of us want to live for selfish reasons. But Paul’s reasons for living and dying are quite different. In this lesson we will see Paul’s reasons to live and his reason to die.

The United Methodist Church, Women, and Jordan Brown: Though we have completed our series on Misguided Moralism, some stories have come up in this past week that I wanted to address. The UMC is currently debating its stance on homosexuality and whether or not to ordain homosexuals as ministers. Is this the Methodism of John and Charles Wesley? No. Where did the slide begin? Also, you may have heard of "Pastor" Jordan Brown who was caught lying about the homophobic slur on the cake he purchased. I emailed him - and he emailed me back.
