Udell Meyers: November 13, 2017

Udell Meyers examines the armor of God in light of the battles in which we are engaged today. Verse 18 of Ephesians 6 is key to winning the spiritual battles we face each day. How can we avoid being double minded? How can we bring every thought into captivity of the obedience of Christ? How can we as Christians remain in perfect peace in the midsts of spiritual battles?

Udell Meyers

Udell married his college sweetheart, Janet Damron, in 1960, completed his Master of Science Degree in Zoology, and was thereafter employed by the U.S. Dept. of the Interior. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Cuban Missile Crisis and served in the Viet Nam War with the 3rd Marine Reconnaissance Battalion. He was wounded in combat and two years later entered the Armed Forces Reserves. Sensing  God’s call to minister to American Military Personnel, he acquired a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from Grace Theological Seminary and subsequently served with Military Missions in the Philippines, Guam, England, Virginia, Illinois, and currently at the Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida. While serving in England he was a frequent guest lecturer at The Royal Military Academy-Sandhurst. Udell and Janet minister as a team, and like Aquila and Priscilla, they are yoked together to do the Lord’s work. The Meyers have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.
