Presidential Prayers part 1
A theological rabbit in need of a little chasing has popped up in the form of the presidential prayer service that was held today at the National Cathedral. I watched this service and want to offer a few reflections on it. It was, to use the term, ecumenical jihad. Leaders from Roman Catholicism, Hinduism, the Sikh religion, Islam, and evangelical Christianity were all present and were all given parts in the service. David Jeremiah, Jack Graham, and Ronnie Floyd each had a part in the service. Was this wise? Was Christ honored?
