What is truth? In this week's boralogue, Johns examines church members who are claiming to be Christians but don't believe in Christ and atheist ministers who still want to lead their church congregations. Why be part of a belief system you don't believe in? There is such a thing as absolute truth, even for those who claim there isn't. If you believe in truth, it makes a demand upon you that you live according to that truth. But politicians and many in the church today adhere to a politically correct version of reality that stands in opposition to actual truth. One day they will come to realize - as all of us will - that truth is reality and it always wins out. We continue our thread this week highlighting Christian persecution and welcome to the program Nazir Bhatti. He examines the delays that Christians encounter in receiving refugee status from the United Nations and touches on the immigration problems facing Europe. "The nine most terrifying words in the English language," former President Ronald Reagan once said, "are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'" One might urge the government to look up the word 'help' in the dictionary. The EPA, an element of said government, has launched a campaign to control every drop of water in the United States, even at the expense of property rights. Seton Motley (www.lessgovernment.org), President of Less Government and hydrologist Dr. Jay Lehr (www.heartland.org), Science Director at the Heartland Institute, discuss the agency's overreach and regulations and propose a plan to phase out federal control in favor of state responsibility. Can it be implemented or will it slowly drown in a sea of bureaucracy? John finishes up with a behind the scenes look at Roman Catholicism, papal infallibility, and the weight of authority behind papal teaching and how that is affecting geopolitics. As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes a look at capitalism and the refugee crisis in Europe.
