David Farnell gives his theological analysis and opinion as a pastor and seminary professor on books being used to train seminary students. Craig Blomberg has written a new work, Can We Still Believe the Bible? Perhaps a better title for this Baker book should be Can We Still Believe Evangelical Critical Scholars? Why? They some, like Blomberg, say that they believe in inerrancy, but Blomberg’s book leave much doubt as to whether they really do believe it the way the church has traditionally maintained that doctrine throughout the millennia. David Farnell looks at this book that is being used to train pastors and what they means for evangelicalism and future generations of Christians as to what they will believe about the Bible.
