Since the end of Apartheid during the time of Nelson Mandela, race relations have been strained and on the brink of disaster. Since Mandela's death, the attacks against the white farmers, who are routinely raped, robbed and murdered, is said to be a daily tragedy. Now the government has declared that it will confiscate all land from the white population, while one South African politician has said: "We are cutting the throat of whiteness." Many believe the fragile country is on the brink of a civil war.
