June 2 - The Cartoon Wars - Against America
Do you remember all those months of Muslim rioting over cartoons? It seemed ludicrous, but not so funny when lives were maimed, people were killed, embassies burned, and more. The politically correct crowd told us to try to understand the problem and people; after all, Mohammed had been defamed in one cartoon where his turban doubled as a bomb.
So now who is the Palestinian/Muslim world defaming? America, of course, and our beloved Statue of Liberty. The Palestinian Media Watch, a Jewish outfit that monitors Palestinian media, has just released a series of cartoons mocking America and the statue. This comes after the Palestinians have received almost 40 years of American aid. To say thanks, they have the Statue of Liberty depicted. . .
In other words, along with many other cartoons than just the above, we don't represent freedom, only violence and terror. They came out in a newspaper controlled by Mahmoud Abbas' political party. Abbas is warmly received in Washington as the Palestinian "moderate" who can still save his people.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, view the cartoons posted on my "Current Headlines" herehttp://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Printable.asp?ID=22744
The next time you hear a politician claim that it is possible for Israel and the Palestinians to live "peacefully, side by side in two states," I hope you will challenge that. Due to brainwashing beginning in infancy, America is still the "great Satan" to be mocked and scorned. But unlike the Muslim world, we don't riot and retaliate. You have to dig on the Internet to find the story.
To better understand the issue of "Palestine," visit our Web site and the "Palestine" link herehttp://www.olivetreeviews.org/topics/palestine.shtml There are two educational pictorial options to watch there as well.
Awaiting His return, Jan Markell
